Liaopastel, L'Epicentre — Restaurant in Sagunto

We use Liaopastel L’Epicentre once a week as our “office” and even though their stuff is pretty “average” it’s still a nice and convenient place to spend a few hours.

Sadly, for the last two weeks we have noticed what seems to be a staff reunion where subjects that shouldn’t be discussed in front of customers are, and at the top of their lungs. Staff members talking on top of each other is not something I need to witness and it’s definitely not a good image for the brand.

As a catering professional myself I’m a firm believer in “praising in public, criticising in private” and if they can’t discuss their issues without inconveniencing paying customers maybe they should take it outside or somewhere else.

This particular branch definitely needs closer supervision by owners/management as the employees clearly can’t be left to their own devices.

And remember: for each customer that gives constructive criticism you probably get 10 that simply can’t be bothered and take their custom...

Today on 14 August at about 1:30 PM I had horrible service from who I guess is the manager because she’s the only one with a black T-shirt on. She also has glasses. She was incredibly rude and yelled at me about the ticket process, when it could’ve been explained calmly, and clearly without being rude to a customer. El sitio es amplio y muy bien decorado. Tiene algunas mesitas en la terraza para 2/3 personas. Tiene mucha variedad de comida, mucha mucha, tanto salado como dulce. Destaca la vitrina con tartas, pero todo sabe muy industrial y súper dulce, para mi gusto. Hay días que parece producto fresco, y otros que está muy seco. Los precios son altos en general. Pero si algo llama la atención en el sitio es las colas y la atención. He ido muchas veces al estar situado en un centro comercial, y siempre he hecho dos colas. Una para pedir y pagar, y otra para que te sirvan y la atención dista mucho de ser amable o simpática. Sobre todo en el mostrador donde te preparan el pedido. Se equivocan muchas veces y ponen las cosas sin cuidado. En los cafés siempre me cae algo en el plato antes de cogerlo. Hoy por ejemplo, se habían equivocado en un pedido anterior y tenían un café apartado que me lo han puesto a mi, al llegar mi turno, y ya llevaba hecho un rato, y al ponerme la leche ha volcado parte en el plato una vez más. Luego tienes que hacer varios viajes a la mesa para llevártelo todo, ya que no soy camarera y no soy capaz de llevármelo todo en uno solo. También encuentras siempre mesas sucias por recoger, que tienes que recoger tu misma para poder sentarte.
