Expectations were high since my parents visited this place about 15 years ago.

Apparently, everything has changed.

This was anything but good. We started off in a sauna (the entrance), spending 30 minutes in front of a roll-up banner. The guide knew their stuff, but the heat and the noise from all the other groups in this commercial setting were unbearable. Our group had about 15 people, but others had up to 50. We had booked the premium package, which included a guided tour, wine tasting, and a six-course meal.

After about 1 hour and 20 minutes, the tour was over. We were taken to a large, fully packed tiled dining hall with a terrible noise level and crowded with people.

Wine was poured without any presentation.

Then came the food… This is among the worst meals I’ve ever had. (Some parts were inedible.) Overcooked ravioli with a sweet sauce. Everything leaned towards being sweet—even the seafood salad, which I couldn’t finish. When the tuna arrived, my daughter started crying. It was unbalanced and overcooked. I took one bite and couldn’t eat more. Inedible. The dessert was cold milk with chopped pears poached in wine.

I felt almost sick after the meal.

This place has become impersonal, commercialized, and extremely overpriced. I cannot...

Disappointing and overly commercial – avoid if you’re looking for a real wine experience

We expected a romantic, engaging tasting where you try wines with your guide and talk about them, but instead, we were split into big groups, rushed through a production tour, and then led to a large, banquet-style hall that felt like a low-budget wedding venue.

Wine was only served during the meal, and not even explained. The food (a supposed tasting menu) was bland and mainly seafood without flavour, it felt like mass catering. The room was dark, smelled odd, and the whole experience lacked warmth and passion for wine. The experience felt completely impersonal and touristy.

Save your time and money—there are much better, more authentic bodegas in the area. Ask your hotel for recommendations and read...

The best meal we have eaten in Spain. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Baigorri with a tour in English and only the two of us by default as no one else had booked. We were shown around this very modern winery with its clever designed building which is built into the hillside After the tour we enjoyed lunch in their restaurant with wine Rose, white (the best white wine I have ever tasted) crianza, Reserva, two premium wines which we choose from their specials list Starters was a simple carpachio which was melt in the mouth delicious Followed by smoked salmon Mushrooms( I would love the recipe) Tuna and potato stew Lamb Desert The service was excellent. Every time an empty glass was spotted it was filled The meal was our highlight of...

We did the tour of the winery and the lunch tasting menu back in May and I’m still getting goosebumps just thinking about it — everything about this experience was perfect! Our tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable, the winery is absolutely stunning and the food was awesome! I was very impressed how fast they were able to accommodate us for he tour and highly appreciated everything hey did for us. The vineyard and architecture is nothing short of STUNNING! If your an art and wine lover this is a MUST visit for you! I recommend a food pairing as well to enjoy the wines even more! Incredible! 🙌🏼😍

This place is amazing! Beyond the fact that the wine is phenomenal (we left with 5 bottles), we ran into the main vinter while he was on an interview. He was very welcoming and told us to "Go inside" as we hesitated at the door near closing time at 1230. Our Sommelier for our tasting was incredible. Talked to us about the terroir, specific differences in grapes and processes, and how it impacts tasting notes. We tried most of their offerings and were exceptionally impressed with the B70 (of course the top end wine) and the Tempranillo Blanca. Do a tasting and enjoy yourself!!!
