Freiuduria Mar Menor — Restaurant in San Javier

My girlfriend and I wanted to go someplace nice to eat considering it was our last day in La Manga. The tables were nicely set up and the location was gourgeous, so we chose to have our meal here at Freidurua Mar Menor. We ordered our appetizers and our mains at the same time. Took them 5 minutes to deliver our mains and we never got our appetizers even though the waiter read the items we ordered out loud when he was taking them. Already dissapointed we thought we could just forget about it and enjoy our mains considering it was our last night. We both had the Barbeque ribs and we we’re both equaly dissapointed. Dry, overcooked and underseasoned. Only thing good was the bread we got at the start of our stay, and I dont even think that was made in house.. those ribs definetly werent.

We got the check and they charged us for the appetizers we never recieved, had to let the waiter know and he seemed clueless followed by a seemingly forced «sorry». It gets 1 star mainly because of the beautiful location. Never returning and I dont recommend it in...

Perhaps the very best restaurant in La Manga and certainly the best value-for the money restaurant in La Manga situated on the west side of the Tomas Maestra Marina. We had a 2 person seafood banquet including a bottle of wine, mediteranean salad, a starter, dessert and coffee for a fixed price of 59 Euros for 2 persons. We got a huge platter with king prawns, blue shells, 2 kinds of fried fish, fried squid accompanied by a decent white wine. The well dressed waiters speaks fluently English and were very polite and attentive. The salad and starter were fresh and served deliciously. The seafood was fresh and cooked close to perfection. The dessert was tasty and deliciously served on a slate platter. The wine was good and was served in an ice bucket. All in all a very well balanced menu to at a decent price tag, the view of the sunset over Mar Menor only adds to the positive experience. Après avoir vu le restaurant rempli de monde à toutes heures on a voulu tenter l'expérience ! Et ce ne fut pas fameux. Tout d'abord le service, nous avons eu 4 serveurs différents dont 1 réellement effrayant, blasé qui parle d'un ton aggresif et pose fermement les plats sur la table. Les autres étaient plutôt normaux même si il était difficile de décrocher un sourire. L'attente était longue, les plats sont arrivés en désordre nous n'avons pas pu manger en même temps, ils se sont même trompé sur un de nos commandes. Le menu friture est à 22 euros par tête soit 44 euros et, je ne mâche pas mes mots quand je dis que nous avons été déçus. La salade était très bonne, sans fautes, les brochettes elles... Nous avons eu 3 pauvres crevettes sur un pic les 2 entrées ne sont même pas arrivées en même temps. Les fritures n'avaient aucunement le goût de l'aliment, simplement un goût de friture et n'étaient même pas assez salées. De plus il y avait une quantité énorme de tout petits poissons sans aucun goûts ce qui pour moi cachait juste le manque de quantités des autres produits. Pour ce qui est des pizzas celle au bacon n'a absolument aucun goût si ce n'est celui du fromage. La 4 fromages et la piquante elles étaient très bonnes. Pour finir je dirais simplement que les prix sont exorbitants pour un résultat qui ne casse pas trois pâtes à un canard. Non seulement il ya trop de monde donc ce n'est en général pas agréable de manger dedans mais rien d'autre ne fait relever le niveau.
