We Always stop of at the OLIVE TREE to have breakfast with friends when we are in SAN MIGUEL, on market day, which is on (WEDNESDAY'S ). We always try to get a table outside on the pavement but plenty of tables inside also. The lady's that run this place have a warm welcome to everyone who comes in. The restaurant manu is very well priced. We have the fall ENGLISH BREAKFAST 🍳 AND COFFEE, which is spot on. We have never used the restaurant in the evening so we can not stay what it is like. We drove from el Galan to visit the olive tree for lunch. We checked out the menu that was outside in a cabinet and decided each on a panini. The waitress then brought out another lunch menu and said that they do not use the one in the cabinet, but concentrate on the more expensive menu owing to a shortage of space in the kitchen. We've been here several times now and it never fails to please us. The lunch time specials are fantastic value for money and very generous portions. We tried the "Sunday lunch" last week and really enjoyed it. The quality of the food was excellent and couldn't be faulted.
