A very cultural and authentic Spanish experience in San Pedro del Pinatar. The atmosphere is lively and truly Murcian in spirit, with a mix of locals and visitors enjoying fresh seafood by the sea. The food gave me a lot of pleasure – perfectly fried fish, fresh flavors, and generous portions.

Tip: don’t miss the grilled green peppers (pimientos asados) – they go wonderfully with a cold local beer (alcoholic or non-alcoholic, both are excellent quality). The combination of food, setting, and relaxed seaside vibe makes this place very special.

Today we visited for the second time, I always worry in case it is not as good as I remember, i was so pleased that it was every bit as good as before, the fish is amazing fresh and delicious and to be sitting lookng over the Mar Menor was fabulous.

The chef obviously knows their stuff but I have to give a special mention to the two lovely young men who ensured the shade was just right for me - bless them

Fuimos a parar a Venécora por casualidad buscando donde comer, nos sorprendió que hubiese cola y pensamos que en pleno febrero, sería por ser un buen lugar. Hicimos 15 min. de cola para seleccionar y pagar la fritura, que estaba hecha de horas y almacenada en vitrinas practicamente fría. No te la calientan y te sirven a gusto y al peso, por cierto bastante caro, por ejemplo 1/4 de kg. de calamar rebozado 12,50 €. Gambitas con piel sin cabeza rebozadas y fritas 10 €. 1/4 de kg ( 250 gr.). También pedimos 4 cigalitas precocidas y frias al peso a 70 €. / kilo. 14 uros las 4 piezas medianas. Decir que hay que pagar, te dan servilletas de papel y tenedor y cuchillo de plástico y búscate mesa y te lo llevas. Después haz cola en la ventana de la barra para la bebida y paga de nuevo, aqui los precios normales en bebida , 1 botella de Coto blanco seco 9 eur. Con enfriador con hielo y copas.
