We have always had a very good experience at Venezuela but some things happened yesterday when we were there. Several times we had to remind them of what we had ordered so they forget bread, allioli. When it was time for dessert they just threw the menus on the table. And it took forever before we could get the attention to order the desserts as if the waiter forgotten had had threwn the menus on the table. The crema catalana was served with a plastic lid on it with a date stamp for 2025. And the espresso was forgotten and had to be reminded. After we had had the main course it was increasingly difficult to get the waiters' attention including to get the bill. For a meal that cost about £200 we expect more. Since we have had good experiences here before we will probably go back to see if this was a one-off...

As if eaten a lot of seafood my week in London pagan I went for a the steak instead. It was nice, cooked well but there was no vegetables to be seen which made it very sameish to eat.
I would have ordered some but my waiter said it included everything, I see now I should have questioned more. My other irk was when requesting a glass of white wine there was only one option. A very acidic, unenjoyable glass.
Overall my experience would probably have been better if I had gone for the fish, the drinks were low price but tasted that way too. The staff were a little absent at times, it took us about 30 minutes to order anything but after that everything...

Staff is really friendly, there is also a dedicated parking with shuttle service to the restaurant if you come by car (better call to know where it is). 'marisco' is crazy fresh and high quality, served in many ways. If you don't know what take, order the following: 'caña' beer to start mojama (salty local fish antipasti, excellent with an iced beer) octopus venezuela style (not galician style, they serve this also but the own style is sick) either paella (if lunch) or a platter of fresh prawns (if dinner). dessert: 'torta de turron' + a shot of 'crema de orujo'
