Sweet Roma — Restaurant in San Sebastián

What a sweet neighborhood bakery and cafe! It’s such a treat to have breakfast at a local eatery away from the touristy area. I was greeted warmly by barista. She recommended the brioche toast with mango and ginger jam. That’s delicious. My husband and I also had their mini croissant, cortado, latte and cappuccino. All for 10 euros. Their croissant was flaky and buttery much better than the croissant at our hotel. The interior and exterior were tastefully done and cheerful. Their cupcakes, cookies and other treats looked tempting.

I started coming regularly to Sweet Roma after moving to this area recently. I was really missing cupcakes (as they’re common in the US but not so much here) so I tried this place out and was hooked! The staff are super friendly and change up their selection every so often to try something new. I’ve also ordered birthday cakes here a couple of times and they do an excellent job. September 2022 All about mint green. The shop, the equipment all very 'sweet'. The coffee is good, maybe can be a bit stronger but good coffee. Ladies are extremely nice with a quick service.
