10 STARS! NICEST PEOPLE YOU’LL EVER MEET! I walked all day around the shore. Started at dawn and ended up in Cala Salada just before sunset. I figured I would be able to get a taxi home. After I ate (the saffron lobster was AMAZING) it was about 11PM. The owner (who has been our server) asked where my car was. I told him my friend and I had walked from Casa Maria. He said I was very far from home and taxis would not come this late. Heartbroken, I resigned to walk most of the night back home and let him know as much when he inquired how I’d get back. He refused to let us leave in such a way. I told him it was fine and definitely my own problem. He wouldn’t hear it and we waited while him and his wife closed the place. Then he, his wife, 3 of his grandchildren, my ex and I piled into his van and he drove us nearly an hour to our hotel. To this day it’s probably the kindest thing a stranger has ever done for me. If I could give more stars I would. The world needs more...

Initially we went to this restaurant just to grab some drinks after the beach, but then I noticed that lobster was presented on the menu... so we asked some questions about it to the waitress, but she couldn't answer and called some senior instead (we assume he was a manager or owner?), so he brought us a lobster to show and explain everything (though we do speak spanish so it was easy, not sure if he could communicate so clear in English) in a nice way so we were already tempted to try it. The place was very busy and so were the workers. Mostly the table is attended by a helper rather than a waiter/ess, so eventually they forgot to bring our bread with alioli, but it all faded away when the lobster came... that was exactly the taste what i was craving for such a long time! The place itself looks a bit old but in my opinion it's giving some authentic charm. After all we left very full and happy! Would like to come back but only to be served by this senior...

As soon as we walked in we were greeted very rudely by a middle aged man when we were just trying to find a table and didn’t know that we needed to go up to the counter to book a reservation. Once eventually seated service was slow, table not set, food very poor quality for the price. The seafood in the paella was dry and didn’t look fresh. Spaghetti tasted like it was out of the tin. Spanish omelette just had frozen French fries in it. The calamari and lamb chops were ok. After eating we had to ask four different people for the bill. Asked the same rude man again and he said it was coming. This was after 10-15mins. Once the bill arrived we just went up to the counter to pay as we wanted to get out of there. Total time in the restaurant was 2hrs and was the worst customer service experience I’ve had in my life. Would not recommend...

Big luck

Awful service. The place was full up on the terrace so we asked the waiter to eat in the lower floor level where there was another table having lunch. He said we could only eat snacks there and no lunch could be served. I didnt want to make a fuss so we ordered i one Bocadilla and one hamburger which were average. We also ordered chips but they never came. Dont go there, unless it is to have a coffee.

I loved the service, the waiters were amazing and kind, they really appreciate family! The food is good, we took chicken/fries, merou (excellent), palourde(little but good!!), home made salade, aioli, bread & olives and some dessert. The view from the terrace has the beach and the magnificent see. 5/5 for the service, 4/5 for the food. The vibe is immaculate. I strongly recommend !
