The quality of food is not the same as last summer, same with the service.
I ordered a grilled octopus, which was unfortunately bitter and inedible. My friend, brother, and kids all confirmed that it was bitter. We had to return the octopus, but the owner did not remove it from the bill. Moreover, he insisted that it was fine and stated that they do not accept complaints about the taste.
This was a sad start to the season, throwing away 18 euros on inedible food and hearing, “You are wrong, the octopus is perfect.”
For three years in a row, this has been my favorite restaurant at this beach. I gave it 5 stars a year ago and was eagerly looking forward to this season and my favorite dishes. The Parmigiana di Melanzane here was fantastic! Not sure i am going to try...

At best it would be the equivalent of a starter in terms of quantity. The lasagne was dire. I've eaten tastier supermarket lasagnes; it was all pasta, very little meat, and the few bits of meat I found tasted like pork. I can make better myself and for the price, was extremely lacking in taste, presentation and quality. All in all, a very disappointing experience. Overly priced for the lack of quality and quantity. Even at half of the price, I would not eat here again - this was the most disappointing Italian meal I've ever had.

Read moreMe veo en la obligación de narrar, la desventura que, junto a mi amada compañera, experimentamos en un establecimiento que, con aires de grandeza italiana, se presentaba. La cena, lejos de ser un banquete digno de elogio, fue un infortunio que lamento profundamente haber padecido.
La pizza de carpaccio, que aguardábamos con ansias, resultó ser una afrenta a la culinaria. La trufa, en lugar de desplegar sus nobles fragancias, semejaba ser un fragmento de plástico, indigno de cualquier mesa. El carpaccio, en su triste condición, se asemejaba a una goma de mascar, tan alejado estaba de la delicadeza que le corresponde. Y la masa, ¡oh, la masa!, tan dura e impenetrable que ni con el mejor de los cuchillos pudo ser vencida. Una experiencia tan ingrata que la memoria, aún ahora, se estremece al evocarla.
Con la esperanza de encontrar alguna reparación, nos dirigimos al encargado, esperando la humildad de una disculpa. Mas no hallamos sino altivez y terquedad, defendiendo lo indefendible con argumentos tan insulsos como la trufa misma. Ni un atisbo de contrición, ni una palabra de enmienda; solo la reiteración de que tal era la naturaleza de sus ofrecimientos.
Así, con pesar, declaro que a este lugar no volveremos jamás. Que mis palabras sirvan de advertencia para que otros no caigan en tan amarga trampa. Que vuestras mesas, queridos lectores, estén siempre adornadas de manjares que sean un verdadero deleite para el espíritu.
