We ended up feeling disappointed.
I will divide the review into 2 parts: Food: We had dinner for two with a menu of camí de Sant Benet. There were three or four very good dishes, others were mediocre and some really bad that even made us leave some of the food on the plate. When eating a meal that costs over 100 euros per person this should not happen. In one dish there was a huge endive root that gave a bitter taste to the whole dish (it was the biggest part of the dish). In another dish, we felt a bad aftertaste in the sauce, but the highlight was the chicken dish, which was so insanely salty that it was impossible to eat it. When I pointed this out to the waitress she said she would report it to the kitchen. Reported or not, I don't know, but no one gave me an explanation or offered me another portion as compensation (this was one of the main dishes of the meal and i hadn't touched it). In addition to that we noticed that many dishes on the menu used the exact same ingredients and it felt like a miss. This lack of creativity is also reflected in the plates itself: an eggplant-shaped plate with an eggplant inside. Where is the sophistication? Disserts? There is nothing to speak about them (among the worst and most boring ones I had the chance to eat).
Atmosphere and service: to enter the restaurant you have to enter the hotel and cross another restaurant (and also share the same bathroom with it) this greatly detracts from the atmosphere. The design of the restaurant is very basic and does not give the feeling of a place with character. In the same way, the place could be used as a small hall for conferences and parties of workers. The round tables are too big and not functional. The service was fine except for one incident. I asked them to bring me something to wipe the map after something fell on it. After I cleaned the tablecloth I put the wiper on the side of the table with its wrapper. Until the end of the meal no one took it away.
In conclusion: Unfortunately I cannot recommend...

I had the pleasure of dining here 7(!) nights in a row during a large event that we were running and I was blown away by the consistency of the quality and experience across all of those sittings.
Every course was perfected to the same level on every single night and I was very impressed by how quickly the staff remembered any preferences that I had and how proactively they applied those preferences to my experiences each night. All without a word being spoken.
The views at sunset are absolutely gorgeous, with the monastery visible across the lawns and often hot air balloons passing by in the summer.

Read moreMolt i molt be !!! Molt bon menú de degustació i molt bona relació qualitat preu. Crec que es un restaurant molt mereixedor de la segona estrella michelin . Aparcament davant del restaurant i tenen dos punts de carrega per cotxe elèctric . Menjador per 8/10 taules molta claror i mol ben decorat , estil modern. El menú de degustació constava de 14 plats amb les postres inclouses i el preu va ser de 85€ per cap sense vi ni aigua. D’ entrants varem fer 4 platillos que constaven de :
Porquet de pinyons. Cruixent de bacallà fumat. Pollastre amb gamba i eris de mar. Bunyol de caviar oscietra.
Col i nap amb bou de mar. Albergínia blanca escalivada anb cru de llobarro ( espectacular ). Consome d’escamarlans amb peix i marisc. Caneló de formatge Tou de Til.lers amb tòfona negra. ( Molt ben maridat ). Turbot amb carxofes a la beurre blanc . Arròs cruixent de verdures i pollastre del rei ( D’escandol ). Cabrit a baixa temperatura amb salsifís al shawarma, iogurt i coriandre (😋😋😋) Gingebre, fonoll i pipes garrapinyades . Esponjós de torró amb esfera glaçada de neules ( cuinat a taula un espectacle ). I per finalitzar amb els cafes ….. Petit fours. Tot aquest menú ho hem maridat amb un blanc de les bodegues Collbaix del Pla de Bages i un negre del Montsant Brunus 2017 del Portal de Montsant . Nomes una petita queixa constructiva , que no tenen Maria Brizard , tot i que ens el varen cobrar i no m’hen vaig adonar fins que vaig arribar a casa. El noi que ens va servir va estar molt correcte , molt atent i molt profesional . El segon sommelier i el segon de cuina tambe molt i molt be !!! Una única pega que varem trobar, va ser que la sopa pel nostre gust hauria de ser una mica mes calenta ja que estava tèbia , i poder un pel mes tambe, el cabrit i el turbot , o sigui una mica mes de temperatura en alguns plats .
