I was in this restaurant for having a coffee and probably eat something. First i ordered a coffee. After i studied the menu, i told the waiter that I didn't want to order anything else because I didn't like the dishes on the menu. Even though this place was only about 25% full with many free tables, i was told very aggressively, that i had to order something to eat. I couldn’t really understand was happening because this place calls himself “Cafe Vista Alegre” on Instagram and on their receipts. Also at the door there is a big sign that clearly states “Cafe”. The waiter was making a big scene and yelled at me in front of the other guests as i was explaining my point. Then he just took away my coffee from the table that was still more than half full and left with it. I went inside and asked another member of the staff for the manager because i wanted to complain about this inappropriate and rude treatment. Then the waiter came around the corner and attacked me physically without any reason. I had to defend myself to get him off from me. Also the other guests were shocked and speechless. I must say that, before this incident, in my whole life and within 30 years on the island i have never had such a horrible and absolutely unnecessary experience in any restaurant. I wonder if the management is even aware of the unacceptable behaviour of parts of...
Read moreHi, We were in Portinatx from May 30th, 2024 to June 8th, 2024 and visited this restaurant on the day of arrival. We drove from Ibiza airport to Sant Joan in our rental car. Since we couldn't check into our hotel yet, we had breakfast at Vista Alegre. We both chose the muesli (Greek yogurt, freshly roasted granola, fruit, roasted nuts and honey). In simple words: delicious. Plus two Cortados, so the bill was €17.00. You can sit on the terrace or in one of the air-conditioned rooms. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. The price/performance ratio is very good. The staff is friendly, quick and helpful. The toilets are clean and are checked regularly. The restaurant is definitely a clear recommendation. We will be back. Sunny greetings...
