Beso Beach Ibiza — Restaurant in Sant Josep de sa Talaia

We come in Ibiza every summer and are used to going in beach clubs (everything is always FULL a long time before) so we always book in advance so that we don't have any bad surprise when we arrive and because we don't want to waste our time on our holidays. Previous years we didn't come to Beso beach because of such bad comments... But this year we decided to make our own opinion and try. So one week before going to Beso beach, we booked sunbeds, we then received a confirmation for the sunbeds but the confirmation was also insinuating we had to take our lunch to the restaurant..we never asked for restaurant, only sunbeds!! Anyway we came at the beach club, with the email confirmation and what? They told us that they were full. Strange...because we booked and had a written confirmation from them. Our villa is 40min away from the place and they explain to you that they are sorry but there is nothing they can do or maybe wait for someone living their beds (people just arrive and paid for beds, of course they'll leave, are you kidding me???).. An other customer was arguying at the same time with waiters because he has been asking for 3 coke for 40 minutes and they never came, telling the waiter that the service is sooo bad since they arrive in the morning, each time they want to order beverages. NO consideration for customers AT ALL. Happy to take your money to maintain their business but they treat you like s*....They just DON'T CARE, speaking to you with a superior way, calling you "darling"....Please go SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! Positive sides: food quality is very good, nice vibe and very friendly stuff

Not so positive: the service was awful - we had to wait at the doorstep for about 10 minutes without anyone showing up. Afterwards, we got sit and asked for the drinks. After 15 minutes waiting without our drinks, the waiter came back, saw it and re-ordered them. We ordered food, and when the first dish came we realized we wanted some bread - spent about 10 min looking for a waiter to order it. The arrival of the bread was yet another odyssey: 3 waiters were asked/reminded about our order, finally, after 15 min waiting I stood up and went to the bar to pick up our loaf of bread (not kidding). The paella came (which was delicious) and during that time we spent about 10 more minutes trying to have any waiter come to us to ask for another round of drinks. We asked for a cocktail and a water, but the water never arrived. Finally, we asked for the check skipping the dessert to not wait for another 30 minutes, and guess what? They brought the check but never came to get the payment despite us asking 2 people for it. Yet again, we had to stand up to go and pay to the bar. This might be the first time I didn’t...

Experiencia nefasta, restaurante a evitar si no quieres ser estafado! nos han estafado 328€ de más en junio 2024!

Es una pena leer el mismo trato a clientes nacionales recientemente en otras reviews, yo soy clienta habitual de varios de estos restaurantes del grupo y es una pena que estén desprestigiando un restaurante que tenía buena fama. Nunca me había pasado esto hasta ahora.

Acudimos 16 chicas la mayoría españolas a una despedida de soltera. El trato del camarero no nos gustó mucho porque insistía en solo hablar con una persona, estaba de mal humor por jaquecas reconocido por él y por lo que pudimos ver después, no quedaba ahí, sino que también era un estafador profesional y un mentiroso.

Pedimos muchos entrantes de marisco, una paella de bogavante para 8 personas y una paella de verdura para 2 personas.

Además no escatimamos en bebidas de todo tipo y postres, con lo cual la cuenta ya era de por sí elevadísima pues todo es caro en este restaurante. De hecho precisamente por ser tan caro se espera gran calidad en el servicio, lo cual no puede estar más alejado de la realidad de este restaurante.

La comida fue bastante escasa.

El camarero nos recomendó que con todo lo que habíamos pedido no deberímos pedir paellas para más de 10 personas, por eso elegimos 2 paellas (2 pers+ 8 pers).

Es una lástima porque los cocineros son muy buenos, estaba todo muy rico, aunque como he dicho bastante escaso, probablemente debido a las triquiñuelas del camarero que pudo manipular la cuenta para traernos poca comida y cobrar lo que le vino en gana.

Cuál fue la sorpresa después de pagar , cuando revisamos la cuenta esa noche, vimos que nos habían cobrado bogavante nacional al peso (4 kg) a 160€/kg con guarnición extra de arroz por 120 € adicionales, en lugar de paella de bogavante! ¡ Lo nunca visto! La tomadura de pelo más grande que he visto en mi vida.

Una estafa que si no lo veo no lo creo, propia de un restaurante de una república bananera. Como si en España una paella fuera equivalente a un bogavante con un poco de arroz hervido de guarnición. Un insulto a la inteligencia, cultura y gastronomía españolas.

Cualquier español ve en la foto que lo que nos sirvieron fuer una paella de bogavante normal y corriente y para no más de 6 personas…

En lugar de 41€ que costaba cada ración de paella según carta oficial de Beso Beach para 4 personas (328€ en total) nos habían cobrado 712€ por esa “paella”.

Y encima contestan que es lo que se acordó con el camarero como si fuéramos extranjeras y no entendiésemos el idioma.

Menos mal que somos 16 testigos frente 1 camarero, además de las fotos geolocalizadas y fechadas de la paella que nos fue servida, lo cual rebate cualquier intento del camarero de mentir diciendo que nos sirvieron bogavante.

Hemos puesto reclamación y solicitado reembolso urgente del dinero de más que nos han cobrado y 2 semanas más tarde seguimos sin recibir...
