Chiringuito Cala Escondida — Restaurant in Sant Josep de sa Talaia

The sunset every evening is great, even if it is now (as in many other places) obscured by many boats. The atmosphere here is still exuberant. Unfortunately, the once so perfect list of names no longer works. Signing up and waiting is a waste of time. Just take a seat at a table that has become free. Unfortunately, the tone quickly changes when you speak up to the master of the tables. Suddenly the nice manner and nonchalance are blown away. Critical comments are unwelcome. However, really cool and easy-going is a different story. Sales will not suffer despite the (unfortunately not positive) changes here either, as the sun will once again set beautifully on the horizon tomorrow. It's a shame, because the drinks are still good and the veggie burger is still ok. For all those who still remember the atmosphere here from the past, remember it well take something from take away or buy a dumpling from the nice old lady on the beach, because her smile is...

What a disappointment. We came here with four people, just to have a drink, and were told to wait on the rocks or the beach until a table became available. Fine, we thought. We were even promised that we would get the next table. After almost an hour (!) baking in the sun, a table finally opened up. Relief… until a group of women walked in, barely five minutes earlier, and the staff immediately sat them down instead. Apparently, the “first come, last served” policy is alive and well here.

Customer service = zero, organization = zero, respect for paying guests who actually wait their turn = also zero. Plenty of other beach bars around—do yourself a favor and pick one where you’re not treated like...

We stopped here just for a couple of beers. We have seated in an empty table.The waiter comed and ask to leave the table as it was "reserved" but no sign were on It. So I asked to another waiter where could we drink our beers. Her answer was "you have to go to the beach" In this chiringuito are not interested in customers that just want to drink as they don't spend enought money for them Very unpolite service, the only one we found...
