Came here to enjoy sunset and have a nice meal (thought I was onto a winner going off location and previous reviews) I was very wrong.
Location is excellent! Beautiful views of the sunset for 5* for that but food was terrible!
Ordered x2 cheeseburgers, presentation was mediocre at best, chips were half cooked and soggy. As for my burger.. bright pink in the middle and not cooked! My partners was cooked but only just and edible.
I ate the chips and left the burger and cut open to show the waitress, when she came to collect the plates I explained my burger is raw and I don’t want to pay for mine, she argued “why not!? You have eaten 80%!” This was not the case and I had eaten only the chips as the burger is raw and bright pink! She gave me dirty look said some words in Spanish, that I can only imagine where insults and walked away.
Shortly after I approached the bar to pay my bill and they sent for another waiter to serve me, young lad who was trying to be intimidating and I guess that’s why they called for him. Unfortunately for them I was not intimidated and told him I will not pay for my raw food and would like 1x burger removing from the bill he argued I had eaten 80% again going off his colleagues comments.
Eventually, after some time they removed 1x burger meal but added a portion of fries to the bill as I had eaten my chips! 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Overall service and food was terrible and I would avoid. Many other restaurants near by with excellent views for the sunset.
I wish I had taken some photos...
Read moreI’ve been coming here since I was a kid, this was the first time I visited with my partner as adults. We slightly disappointed at the service from older staff. I hate to see people treat me worse because I’m younger than them. Not that they were actively being rude but more dismissive, as if we weren’t worth their customer service. I’d definitely recommend the owner do some training with the staff in treating everyone the same. I expect they wouldn’t think someone of my age would even leave a Google review. I do unfortunately look far younger than I am but that doesn’t give people the right to treat me differently.
The food was pretty much spot on bar for the fact i got two pieces of bread with the aioli, even at least 3 I would’ve been like fair it’s just for one person but two is just cheap. The food is slightly overpriced but at least it’s good quality.
The reason I’m rating as high as I am is mainly for the vibe and views which can’t be beat. The location is amazing. Half on the rocks so you’re sitting right on the beach. Probably why they charge as much as they do.
All in all I would recommend for somewhere aesthetically pleasing to eat...
Read moreGreat small & basic restaurant right on the beach of Cala Tarida. Beautiful views under the shade to enjoy people watching or a sunset. A no-frills and more local experience to enjoy if you’re looking for a beach restaurant. Make a reservation in advance — and request one of the tables at the front on the lower beach level - can’t get better seating than that!!
Please don’t take my 3-stars as an official review as I haven’t tried the food- they were not serving dinner until 7pm. I will update the review once I have.
The 3-stars is for a basic experience with drinks - definitely a great place to sit and watch the world go by during the daytime. They also didn’t have any bites or snacks to go with the drinks- which can be dangerous for day drinking!
We tried the sangria which was OK. So I can’t judge a place by the sangria alone!
Ses Eufabies is very easy going and casual, which is a nice break from the more sceny (and more expensive) beach restaurants (like Chringito and Cotton Beach Club on the...
