My recent visit to this supposed high-end beach restaurant in Ibiza was nothing short of disappointing. While I must admit that most of the food we ordered was good, it was vastly overshadowed by the exorbitant prices charged for what was served. However, the real nightmare began when the paella, supposedly the main highlight of the menu, turned out to be an utter disaster.
The paella was an abomination; it was so salty that it bordered on inedible, and to make matters worse, the rice was grossly undercooked. It was an insult to the culinary reputation of Spain, especially considering the premium we were charged for it.
But the culinary mishaps were not the only concern during our visit. What was truly shocking and alarming was the incident of theft that occurred right under our noses. While dining with a group of 8 people, one or more of the restaurant staff shamelessly stole a purse from our table, and we were completely oblivious to it until later.
Upon realizing the theft, we immediately approached the management, requesting access to the security footage to identify the culprit responsible. To our dismay, the manager outright denied our request, claiming it was against their policy. This was highly suspicious, given that there was a camera clearly pointed at our table.
Instead of showing us relevant footage, the manager presented a blurry screenshot from a different camera angle, which was nowhere near our table. It was evident that they were trying to hide the truth and protect their staff members. Considering there were no other patrons around us at the time, it was crystal clear that the theft was an inside job, orchestrated by the very people who were supposed to serve us.
It is appalling to think that a place of such reputation would employ such dishonest staff members. As we paid a premium for the dining experience, we expected a sense of security and trust in the establishment. Instead, we were met with blatant thievery and a refusal to assist us in resolving the matter.
In conclusion, I strongly advise future customers to stay away from this restaurant. The combination of overpriced food, subpar dishes, and a dangerous lack of security makes it a completely unpalatable option. Dining here puts you at high risk of being robbed, and the management will be of no help should such an unfortunate incident occur. Save your money and your peace of mind by avoiding this place altogether. There are plenty of other reputable and honest establishments in Ibiza where you can enjoy a meal without fear of being swindled or...

I visited Yemanja today with my girlfriend and spent half the day by the sea. We had reserved our spot in advance, which included €15 per sunbed and €15 for the parasol (which we didn’t even end up using). We were also aware beforehand of the minimum spend of €50 per person on the beach menu. While the location itself, right on the pebble beach, is undeniably beautiful, there were several aspects that really took away from the experience. Most notably, the pier was closed off, so there was no easy access to the water. The biggest issue, however, was the service. The servers also work at the neighboring restaurant, Blue Marlin (owned by the same company), and it was clear that their attention was focused there. It regularly took 20 minutes just to get a server’s attention, and then another 10 minutes before we could actually place an order. The food and drinks were fine, nothing to complain about in terms of quality, but at these price points, you expect much more attentive and personalized service. Throughout the day, no one checked in to see if we needed anything. It felt like unless you made an effort to flag someone down, you were invisible. It honestly felt like they prioritized the guests at Blue Marlin, likely because they generate more revenue there. Because of the lack of service and attention, we decided not to leave a tip, something I almost never do. All in all, I can't recommend Yemanja. It’s a stunning spot, but the customer service is far below what you'd expect for the price. A tip for the management: invest in training your staff to treat all guests with equal care...
Read moreI’ve been coming to Yemanjá for many years, and it has always been one of my favorite places in Ibiza: the food is excellent, the atmosphere wonderful, and the staff has always been impeccable… until today.
This morning I called to check if there were any sunbeds available. I was told there weren’t at the moment, but that if one became available, they would call me back. I gave my name, and they confirmed they had my number on the caller ID. A few hours later, I decided to stop by, just in case something had opened up, as I couldn’t reach them again by phone.
To my surprise, I was received by a staff member whose attitude was unusually unpleasant, very different from the warm and welcoming vibe I’ve always experienced at Yemanjá. She told me all the beds were gone, and when I mentioned I had asked to be put on the waiting list, she firmly denied it, saying it was impossible and that she was the only girl handling reservations. Her tone and demeanor were dismissive and made me feel as though my word was being questioned unnecessarily and with a condescending attitude.
Let me be clear: I don’t mind that there were no sunbeds available — that can happen. What was truly disappointing was the way I was treated, which felt far from the spirit of hospitality that has always defined this...
