Visiting Las Nieves in Taganana was an unforgettable experience. I recommend driving into Anaga Rural Park, leaving the car at the Casa Forestal, and hiking down to Taganana. It’s a beautiful walk through the mountains, but you need to start early to make sure you have enough daylight for the return. The scenery along the way is breathtaking.
At Las Nieves, the service was as memorable as the food. The hostess and owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We were served potas — a large squid prepared in the traditional Canarian style — along with mojos, cheeses, and other local delicacies. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and deeply rooted in local tradition.

Read moreWe were not allowed to sit on the second floor with the view unless we ordered food, however there was no available seats on street level but plenty seats on the 2nd floor. They could just put up a sign, but instead they chose to embarrass us in fornt of everyone.
As you might have guessed we continued on to the next cafe where we felt welcome.

Read moreThe worst place in the whole Tenerife. We ordered 6 fresh juicies- they are not fresh juicies. They are not drinkable- water + a spark of fruit. Once we told the owner that we don’t want to pay for one of them (papaya was the worst of them all, we didnt drink that one it was that disgusting) she told us that this is not her problem and we need to pay 27eu for them. But if should be your problem once you have a restaurant, right? The ,,lady” do not speak any english. The worst place- higly not recommeded....
