Yesterday, we visited the recently opened restaurant Aura, in Cala Pada. They were hosting an Asian theme Night under their Cusine series. The ambiance was pleasant and generated good vibes due to friendly staff -Daniel Also, i noticed the traditional Asian lights specifically installed to create ambience to suit the theme of the night.
Decided to try out their 5 course set menu of Asian night. When I saw the menu, I realised it would be great if I can slightly alter the dishes to suit my palate. With apprehension, I asked the chef if he can modify his menu as I don't eat Tuna, beef, pork or duck. To my utter surprise and delight, he gladly agreed and assured that he will specially and specifically curate something that will satisfy my taste buds. With this assurance, I relaxed and ordered our 1st round of drinks- Margarita and a beer. Margarita refreshing and beer served in a frozen glass ! Perfect start to the night.
The chefs sent in the 1st dish. Instead of Tuna ( as per their original menu), Sliced Beet root soaked in some exotic herbs and accomplishments was served. What an imaginative and tasty cold starter. I would give 11 out of 10 ! We enjoyed the food and drinks while listening to live music by Sussana. The next dish was veg goyza ( instead of beef goyza of original menu). It was served appropriately hot and was delicious. This one gets 10 out of 10. 3rd dish was from original menu- Chiken skewers. It was soft and not spicy. It was served attractively too. May be 9 out of 10 for this one.
The 4th dish was ( for us) egg fried rice with hot and sour chicken & vegetables . I thoroughly enjoyed this .
And the last dish, the desert, blew me off..Matcha-Misu Absolutely delicious..11 out of 10. A totally satisfying culinary experience. While leaving, I had already decided to come back atleast once before leaving Ibiza. May be as early as next Saturday for their next episode of World cuisine series.. I wish Aura and its staff all the success. We will...

Aura , I was told has planned an 'Aura World Series' where in every Saturday in the month of June a new country cuisine is served for dinner . During my visit it was an Indian night. I knew I was going to enjoy the Indian night from the minute I entered the restaurant. I was welcomed with a small tika on my forehead ,there was a musician playing sitar and a flute . Wow!A live Indian music to give that Indian touch for the evening. At the table there was a boarding pass with the menu printed for the night. Innovative and an apt idea . Papad and assorted chutney were served as we enjoyed our drinks. Once our boarding was complete at the table ,we were served with delicious Samosa chat. On the taxiway; came the yummy Malai chicken tikka skewers. At take off ; Prawns masala made its entry. While cruising ;we were served with scrumptious Butter chicken . With Almond Phirni and Pistachio kulfi we were cleared for landing. Enjoyed Aura's lip-smacking Indian delicacies It was an amazing , stylish and inviting atmosphere at Aura . Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at Aura during my recent trip to Ibiza, and I can confidently say it was one of the best culinary experiences I’ve had in a while. From start to finish, everything was exceptional.
First off, it’s halal – which is such a rare and welcome find in Ibiza. The menu was thoughtfully curated, offering a fantastic range of dishes that felt both authentic and modern. Every bite was bursting with flavour, and the presentation was top-tier. You can really taste the care and quality that goes into their food.
Another major highlight: the non-alcoholic cocktails. Wow. Each one was crafted with such creativity and attention to detail – vibrant, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. Whether you’re alcohol-free by choice or just looking for a unique drink, these mocktails alone are worth the visit.
The atmosphere at Aura is warm, stylish, and inviting. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a relaxed and enjoyable vibe throughout the evening.
