We recently celebrated our wedding at Santa Marta, a beautiful beachside restaurant in Ibiza, and it was nothing short of perfection. From the very first moment we got in touch, Peter was incredibly engaging, warm, and full of ideas to help bring our vision to life. His enthusiasm and personal attention made us feel instantly confident that we had found the right place — and we were absolutely right.

Peter and Patricia, the amazing owners of Santa Marta, have created something truly special. The venue itself is breathtaking — nestled right on the sand with sea views and a peaceful, romantic atmosphere that was exactly what we dreamed of for our big day.

The food was simply outstanding. Every dish was fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor, reflecting the best of local ingredients and Mediterranean creativity. From the delicate seafood starters to the perfectly grilled mains and the stunning desserts, our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was.

The staff at Santa Marta were equally impressive — warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure every detail went smoothly. They worked seamlessly to ensure everything ran effortlessly, allowing us to fully enjoy the day without a single worry.

We stumbled upon Santa Marta today while looking for a quiet creek for the beach, and what a discovery! This place has been around a long time, but it feels like a hidden gem. Right on the water, it’s wonderfully discreet and nothing like the crowded spots you find elsewhere on the island.

They rent sunbeds, and the restaurant itself is beautiful—almost like something designed out of a French palace. The staff are elegantly dressed, very professional, and the service was excellent. We were attended by Peter and Toby, who both made us feel very welcome.

At lunch, I had a roast beef sandwich and my wife enjoyed the club sandwich with fries and rosemary—simple but done to perfection. We also shared padrón peppers, an affogato, and a frappe coffee with hazelnut. Everything was outstanding, truly “out of this world.”

The food was so good that we decided to come back for dinner, and we’re glad we did. To our surprise, there was live music—a German singer performing fantastic songs and even taking requests from the tables, which gave the evening a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. For dinner, I had rigatoni with braised beef cheek (absolutely amazing), and my wife had a chicken leg dish that was just as delicious.

For Ibiza, the value for money here is incredible. Between the setting, the service, the food, and the overall atmosphere, Santa Marta is an absolute must. We cannot recommend it enough and will...

I am deeply unhappy! Being a human more used to the darker regions of Northern Europe whenever I am dragged to the Mediterranean for a "holiday" I usually get to at least enjoy myself complaining bitterly about such things as the crowds, the food, Johnny foreigners being deliberately nice to me, but when all else fails I can moan mightily about being made to "enjoy myself at the beach"!! Well that small pleasure has now been snatched away. This place is sickeningly perfect. The tastefully designed bar/restaurant is right on a beautiful beach with a sea just the right shade of blue framed by lush green trees. I had a club sandwich that was frankly the best I've ever had. We had cocktails with the terroriser telling me that the Pina Colada was the best she has ever had and trust the old lush has had a few. We are going to stay until six today and we have cancelled plans for tomorrow so I can be a bit more miserable here. Hugely recommended. And I forgot to mention that the staff are an absolute...
