I had such high hopes. It is the 1st November so the end of the season but I don't feel that is an excuse fo bad service or food.
I came here on my day off. It looks lovely and when I first arrived the first staff lady I saw was welcoming but then after that I've been largely ignored and trying to get any attention has been difficult. I ordered the secreto Iberico and after 45 minutes managed to get a waitress who said herself this was too long. It finally came after 50 minutes (a dish that takes 15 to cook), slightly cold and dry. Half the secreto was completely raw. I can't get a member of staff's attention to ask for it to be cooked so have eaten around it.
A member of staff who cleared agreed that all was not as it should have been so has offered a discount. Handled well and perhaps this is a one off but a shame all the same as the restaurant is really not busy and they have...
Read moreVisited last week for the 3rd time in as many years. Beautiful location, good value for money, lovely food but really awful service! Pre Booked a table, arrived, waitress pointed to an empty restaurant and said over there, had to ask her to confirm where. She couldn’t be bothered to walk us to the table. Male older waiter had to be called constantly, didn’t come over once to ask if we wanted another drink or if the food was ok, very abrupt with no smile, quite rude. Very hard to get anyone’s attention even if they were a table away, heads down and walking off not looking around. Restaurant had about 5/6 tables so they were not busy. We always leave a good tip but left nothing extra as service was so bad. Such a shame as it definitely impacted on...

I applied lemon and salt, thinking it was just me, and then I deboned and underneath that was worse, grey, sour and inedible. It is such a shame because its got everything else going for it. A place that has a laid back old school charm, with waiters in white and black and a very Spanish menu (plus some pasta). The venue evokes beach side vibes with a large wooden floor, thatching for a roof, loads of space between tables and a view over the sea from every angle. Unfortunately, despite all this gorgeousness, the food...
