CHECK YOUR BILL! It’s a nice place to spend a fun and cosy evening with good food. Unfortunately, this year, Sep 2022, I found it a bit disappointing compared to last year in June. And why... They increased all prices and scammed me with the drinks! From €18 to €20 for a salad is still understandable. From €32 to €36 for the cheese fondue is a bit questionable. I do recommend the fondue but keep in mind that it only comes with white bread. No veggies!
Last year I paid €8 for a glass of sangria and now it was €24 for 1 GLASS of sangria. Outrageous! We were very shocked by the amount on the bill. Two glasses of sangria for €48 that no longer stands for 'a nice local eatery'. On our bill they called the dishes ‘cocina’ and the 2 drinks ‘vino’. This could be a name for all glasses of wine/sangria/spritzed i thought. Still I asked the girl behind the bar if a glass of Sangria Tinto was 24 euro and she said yes… Now a couple of days later a friend from the island made a picture of the menu card for me…. Sangria is still €8… I feel scammed! My total amount actually was €72...
Read moreI wanted to send an email to share my experience privately, but since I couldn't find an email address, I'm sharing this through a Google review. I am a regular customer at this place and know how cozy and delicious it can be here. However, yesterday I was surprised by a very aggressive young waiter who scolded the musicians with many hand gestures in the middle of the establishment because they had played one song too many. The band had given an amazing performance that evening. As a result, customers stayed longer and spent more money on drinks.
I saw with my own eyes that the boss, had given approval for the extra song, which was also the musicians' argument. Nevertheless, the waiter continued to curse and shout. An absolute disgrace. Ironically, the restaurant put on music 10 minutes later that was at least as loud as the band's music. As a musician, it broke my heart to see this. I have a warm heart for this place, but always treat your musicians...
Read moreBe aware...! If you do not like the smell of strong cheese, avoid this place. Since a special dish here is cheese fondue, the whole place smells of stong swiss cheese (like cheesy feet). The ambience of this venue is great, in a oldschool finca - traditional style. You may be lucky and find a good band play live while you have your dinner too. The menu is rather limited and the prices are quite steep. The goulash i had 14€ (comes without rice or potatoes, you must order apart)...it was cooked in some wine but definitely too much and tasted very alcoholic...my friends had the steak 32€ which was indeed very tasty and well marinated - cooked to perfection. Service is very friendly and efficient. If you want to experience dinner in a different way to the usual restaurant style...definitely...
