Marvent Restaurant — Restaurant in Santa Eulària des Riu

Me and my family were staying in apartmentos Es cane above the marvent restraunt which is lovely, however I am extremely disappointed at my experience here at the marvent restraunt as the reviews say very differently, well where shall I start? So a table of 7 including myself were seated and did not get a waiter coming up to us for the first 20 minutes asking if we wanted any drinks, for our food order we had a very impatient unfriendly waiter, he pointed his fingers and 'shhh' us at one point, when a member of my family decided she wanted to change her fries for curly fries just before he took our order to the kitchen he said 'ugggh why you change now' and then proceeded our order, when 6 meals arrived we were still waiting for the 7th, it took 15-20 minutes to finally come out which after we had all finished are food, the sirloin steak one of my family members ordered was at least 75% fat which is just not acceptable. To put the cherry on the cake there was not a single apology made to any of us for ruining our evening especially as we were guests at the above hotel. I do not recommend this restraunt there are plenty other hospitable...

They served me a completely raw chicken burger that I ate the tail of before getting to the center and realizing it was completely raw. I alerted the waitress immediately and told her I had to leave to go to work. I got up and left and when my wife came to see me right after that I asked her what they said about the chicken burger when they got back to the table, and much to my dismay I found out that she had to pay for the completely raw chicken burger with a 10% discount. This is absolutely insane. I called the place to speak to the manager and he had zero phone manners. They answer the phone with "dígame." And he actually tried to justify charging me 90% of the burger because he didn't find out about it right after I took the first bite, and because there are many elements to the burger including lettuce and bread. Those were his actual words. Absolutely insane. After 20 years in the business I thought I had seen it all but even the trashiest place imaginable I did not think would have the gall to charge me for a raw...

Don't let the busy atmosphere fool you. We stood for ages at the door waiting to be seated, and waiters definitely weren't too busy to come acknowledge us at the least, so we went away and came back. Food coming out of the kitchen looked very, very tasty, i ordered a steak.. worst steak dinner I've ever has in my life, and I've been all over the world. They also didn't ask me how I wanted it cooked. The mash potatoes were awful 🤮 Then I had to go chase a waiter around trying to get some salt and pepper, haha. Not one waiter checked up on us or looked even a tiny bit interested in their job. I also swapped salad for veg & they charged me €6.50 for the veg instead of just replacing it. We would have maybe given a desert a chance, but no one was interested enough to serve us. Service is really poor, and the food is poor to match. Don't waste your time & money.
