Uttopia Ibiza — Restaurant in Santa Eulària des Riu

This restaurant is superb if you are looking for authentic and traditional dishes with a modern twist. The place was classically decorated with the blue & white of a coastal setting, with a high end feel. Service was impeccable 👌 our server (Nacho) was attentive, informative, helpful and extremely kind. You MUST try the red aoili and bread! We ate salmon balls and battered prawns to start; both were encased in a light nest which was super crispy. A complimentary dish of codfish croquettes; smooth, soft & creamy. The main dish was one of the specialties on the menu - red paella with prawns, crayfish & scallops. It was pure joy and tasted of the sea. Crunchy on the edges and oozy in the centre. Full bodied and a rapture of flavours. We accompanied this with a bottle of sumarroca nostrat (a white sauvignon blanc), very light, fresh and soft. Ate in Uttopia twice, while staying on holiday last week.

Nacho (owner) could not have been nicer, attentive, and very knowledgeable about his menu.

The food was excellent, on our first night, we had scallops and prawns to start, and then the Angus beef paella, which was so so tasty, and I would highly recommend it. The 50 minute wait, was well worth it.

Dessert was a lovely pineapple and ice cream dish.

Our second visit we had a different prawn starter along with the scallops, which again were delicious. This was followed by two different steaks, which were cooked as requested and tasted amazing. Dessert was a chocolate dish, comprising of chocolate brownies, chocolate ice cream and chocolate mousse.

Simply A1.. Night 1. From our greeting at the start of our family night out to our thank you's when we left a truly memorable and wonderful experience. It's all about the customer and tonite that's what we experienced. Food excellent, decor impressive, friendliness super, involvement of our boys love it - if you get an opportunity would absolutely recommend - you'll pay slightly more than sea front restaurants but you will experience far more.... thank you- will be back Day 2. As we all had enjoyed our food and experience so much we decided to return for lunch. Simply awesome food, location, service.
