Overall pretty disappointed with our visit here. Cocktails were enjoyable but unfortunately 2 of the 4 dishes we ordered weren’t great. But it was the service that disappointed me the most.
The tuna tataki didn’t taste good. Not fresh and quite a bitter taste it was served cold not fresh off a grill. We tried it. We then informed our waiter. There was no apology from him or maybe an offer to take it off the bill. Just a rude comment back. We had quite a difficult exchange. He took it away and said that he’d asked the manager to take it off the bill which they were refusing.
Never experienced a restaurant where they seemed to keen let their guests leave confused and unhappy. The manager didn’t come and speak to us. Instead our waiter told us to go find the manager. The restaurant was 50% capacity so was surprised that such a lack of care was given. Also the guests next to us also had to complain about a dish they ordered. Not sure what happened this evening, if it was a one off, but I wouldn’t be...
Read moreBest spot in Santa Gertrudis! I was surprised by the beauty of this cozy restaurant in Santa Gertrudis. The atmosphere was welcoming and enchanting, with candle-lights all over, carpets and plants all around. The menu is quite short, but every dish is curated in details and quality is the best. They really care about serving organic and eco products. Everything is homemade and this gives them a plus. I tried the Seabass ceviche, perfectly made and balanced as well as the Nori Bites, an unexpected proposal, light yet yummy. Cocktails are incredible, with a focus on Mezcal and Tequila. You have to try! The staff is friendly te professional, they really make you feel at home. Great experience! I highly recommend it to everybody who is looking for something innovative! Last but not least the host Valentina is the kindest and...
Read moreHad lunch at this amazing restaurant last Saturday. It was raining and their outside area was closed so it was chaotic with loads of customers trying to get in. Frances I the owners Dad was working the door and he couldn’t have been more helpful . He continually apologised for the delay in getting a table and charmed us with stories of his life. When we did get to sit down the food was simply stunning! We were a party of 4 and ordered a selection of dishes to share. We all agreed it was the best food we had eaten in a long time. The owner was super attentive and she made us feel so welcome. Cannot recommend this place...
