Unexpected Gem – Michelin-Level Food Without the Price Tag

We stumbled upon Blue Tamarindo completely by accident while sheltering from a sudden downpour. With our feet still covered in sand, we weren’t sure what kind of welcome we’d get—but the staff were incredibly warm and didn’t mind at all. What followed was an absolute culinary surprise. The food was exceptional—beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and genuinely comparable to what you’d find in a Michelin-starred restaurant. And yet, the prices were refreshingly reasonable. It’s rare to find a place that combines such a relaxed atmosphere with such refined food. An unforgettable find—we’ll...

This is one of those restaurants that serves a small variety of dishes supremely well. We're talking Master Chef subtlety of delicately balanced flavours, with nothing overdone. Really enjoyed the tataki beef, which is served seared and rare next to a hot salted stone slab, on which you can cook the tender slices to your taste. The staff are all extremely friendly, and they all seem to enjoy working there. They get a large selection of fresh fish in every day, which I bet is prepared with equal skill. Oh and there's a lovely view of the rocky shoreline from almost all tables. Highly...

What a beautiful setting with such a friendly and welcoming team. We decided to stop for an impromptu lunch and thoroughly enjoyed a leisurely lunch. Although there were plenty of tempting specials on offer, we decided on the poke bowl with Bacalao and lettuce hearts filled with chicken and trampo. Both dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. The ambience is relaxing with beautiful views of the bay of Alcudia. Even better is that Federico and his team have decided to remain open till the end of December which is great for those of us fortunate enough to live...

Fresh fish is the highlight five varieties, handled with care and flavor. The gyoza starter felt crafted on site, with a Thai-inspired touch of lime, herbs, and crisp vegetables. Service was swift and professional, made even more memorable by a polyglot waiter who confidently switches languages and adds genuine charm to the experience. The seaside setting is delightful, fresh and inviting. The cooking is solid and satisfying, though it stops just short of being extraordinary. A reliable and enjoyable choice 4.5 out of 5.

The restaurant is ideally located facing the sea. The food wasn’t really impressive, and having only baby potatoes as a side with meat is quite unusual. However, the cocktails were excellent. My wife and I also got sick after eating twice at this restaurant in one day. I had spotted this place before our arrival, and we were rather disappointed. I found the owner quite intrusive when all we wanted was to eat quietly and enjoy the view. I’d recommend El Sol or Lago, which are a bit further away, instead

The most gorgeous restaurant in Mallorca! We came here for our anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint. The servers were very clear about the menu of the day and the specials, explaining each one without faltering and a smile on their face. Our food came quickly and was utterly amazing. The meats come with salted hot plates and cocktails ice-cold. Lighting was lovely and blue with the option of sitting in or walking through the decorated trees too. 100%, would recommend.
