Synopsis: Incredible atmosphere. Delightful service. Magnificent food and drinks. The chef took the kitchen staff to Bali to train. This is a culinary and environmental experience you cannot miss.
Food: Yes, the chef actually took their kitchen staff with them to Bali to learn how to spice dishes effectively, and it absolutely showed. According to our server, this kitchen staff has been working together for eight years as well and again, it showed. We enjoyed Wok Noodles and Butterfish Curry and they were both special. Honestly, just get whatever based on whether you want land or sea food and if you're disappointed, blame that one internet review guy and then get your taste budds checked out.
Service: Lovely. A level of professionalism I've yet to see anywhere else. While we were there, a large table was present with some children. While a couple of children escaped the non-observant eyes of their parents and began sticking their hands in one of the fountains, the staff took it upon themselves to ever so tactfully and politely escort those children back to their parents. From there, the staff very discreetly (I just love watching for these things) made one another aware of the potential danger, and each paid close attention up until the family left. There were a million-and-a-half ways to handle this situation, and they chose the absolute most professional I've seen. Our server was excellent. He who I presumed was the manager noticed us put the blankets (which they provide) over our shoulders and moved a heater closer to us.
Atmosphere: If everything else is not enough, the whole place was made and designed by someone who I don't know all of her titles but among them is a furniture designer (Nearly everything you see can be bought) as well as an interior/exterior designer. The lighting is master craft. This place is the enchanted forest you read, dreamt, and soon will rave about eating / enjoying your drink...
Read moreBoutique concept restaurant. EXCELLENT PLACE!!!! Found it by mistake and came in without reservation. At first it sounded like it would most likely be impossible to stay without having a reservation done ahead of time but they were kind enough to accommodate us. The place is magical from the moment you come in. First thing you will see is a boutique looking hallway with beautiful decoration items and furniture displays. If you walk straight you will find the patio which leads you to the restaurant. We were there for lunch and it was absolutely gorgeous I can imagine this place at night might be even nicer ✨ The service was immaculate. Everyone was extremely nice and attentive. They speak different languages and are very correct. The food was the biggest surprise. Usually places like this lack either on the service side or quality of the food. Food was delicious. Lots of options and vegan options available. Seriously, GREAT.
If you go, you should walk around the patio because you will find BEAUTIFUL details (available to purchase) all over the garden. I believe there is a second floor with more displays that unfortunately we did not have time to check out.
Definitely recommend this gem in the middle of...
Read moreIt's one of the nicest restaurants I've ever been to and honestly the food is the best. It's an explosion in your mouth. The variety of tastes, the different spices and the combination of ingredients are simply amazing.
Now the downside. We have been eating at Living Dreams Restaurant for a while. After the winter break, something has changed significantly in personnel management. Unfortunately only Alina and Nico are left from the former crew (who were a fantastic and nice team). Thank goodness they're still around because these two are pretty much the heart of this place. However, for some time now, something has changed in the way they have to work. There is less laughter with the customers and also among the employees, less warmth and family atmosphere and it seems as if they are looking over their shoulder at work. They seem rushed and under surveillance. In the past the team has made sure that the guest felt at home and at the same time was well looked after. Now it seems they are no longer allowed to build a solid customer relationship. Time seems to be of the essence. Give back the confidence to your waiters and let them do their job without over-leading and it's 5...
