Great potential with the best sunset views in GA. Went for lunch, two guys serving (both polite & friendly), one took our drinks order which came quickly but it took a while for the food order to be taken, (it had to be taken by a different server but don't know why)? So the food service was a little slow (be prepared to wait) however the food quality was excellent, fresh & tasty. Went again early evening with friends, one guy from the afternoon was on still, really pleasant & attentive (maybe called Aaron?), drinks came quickly but later on the service was slow, two young servers (boy & girl) stood around not really aware of people waiting for drinks. It's a lovely venue in a perfect spot for sunset views with great decor & excellent food. I get it's only just opened, so hopefully these teething problems will be sorted soon so it reaches it's...
Read moreFirst visit to Can Mimosa. Front of house waiter very knowledgeable about the food and drinks on offer. Pity this wasn't backed up with the reality. Bruschetta starters average and mushy. Loaded potato skins, a no no with our diner. Burrito pulled pork bowl, 99.75 % couscous .25%. pork. When questioned the lack of pork, the waiter said it goes by portion size!!! It was a 12 euro main course!!!! Hand made chips??Tasted and looked like skinny fries from a freezer shop! We ordered a second round of drinks, the restaurant was empty inside, bar us, a 20 minute wait, had to ask twice. Also a 20 min wait to clear the dirty table, the drinks waiter sorted it. So disappointing. Not cheap, an 83 euro bill. After a debate they deducted the non existent pork chilli burrito bowl. Concentrate more on the food and service than the encyclopedia of ingredients....

The chef in the restaurant is from Calabria. Now the food is the real deal. Typical linguine ai frutti di mare and trofie homemade. I live in Gran Alacant and I finally have my perfect Italian restaurant of preference with the best quality ingredients. Also, himalayan salt and organic extra virgin olive oil on the table. No restaurant does that. No one. Officially south Eastern Italian approved and especially Mirco approved. And I am extra demanding when it comes to food. If you still have doubts after the photos I have uploaded, you should consider a direct flight to Calabria to convince you. Your...
