FOOD WILL MAKE YOU ILL, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Firstly the lady was nice, the others, not so nice, had to ask multiple times for more napkins as they kept forgetting, the steak was the worst I’ve ever tried, and they didn’t even have the filet (which I’m glad they didn’t based on how terrible the rib eye was) my girlfriend has been sick all day. GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A TERRIBLE MEAL, FOLLOWED BY A WASTED DAY ON THE TOILET. Next I had the “king” prawn madras, the sauce itself was okay, but the prawns were meant to be king, they were about the size of my pinkie finger, and tasted off, the main thing is they were not king prawns, I ordered king prawns not normal prawns, there is a big difference, so, a terrible steak, not to mention the dry chicken, and lamb, pepper sauce which had the consistency of milk and needed to have so much extra pepper added into it to even be slightly okay, furthermore, you know a steak is terrible when you need to add salt and pepper to it yourself Just to make it bare able, the only thing I can say that’s somewhat good is that we got free poppadoms, and the fries were cooked well but still tasted like cardboard, one could say it’s my fault for dining at a cheap restaurant, but in Alicante we have dined at cheaper restaurants and enjoyed it way more. So, a night ruined, and now our last day in Spain, with a sick girlfriend. Oh yeah, the chicken, lamb, steak, and the rest of what came with the mixed meat starter, was the driest meat I’ve ate in my life, I’ve had better from frozen meals and microwaved ones, and another negative, the pilau rice, absolutely no flavour and resembled and tasted that if microwaved rice. This place does not deserve the 4.4/5 it has, it deserves way less and needs a hygiene check asap. Oh yeah they have cobra beer, so I guess that’s good. Thanks to the lady for being a good server, and thanks to the others for forgetting my requests, very basic ones by the way. Poor restaurant, avoid. I do not scrutinise easily and hate leaving bad reviews, but this place is a one way ticket to the toilet and to...
Read moreGenerally, when I visit a restaurant with a variety of culinary styles and a massive menu, I am leery as the quality of the food can be abysmal… This little place with a gigantic menu was truly the exception, I was shocked in the best possible way.
The quality of the food was exemplary, I have had Indian food all over the world and I can say unabashedly that this little place vary well may have the best Lamb Vindaloo in the world, savory, fragrant and spicy it was the perfect rendition of this Goan staple.
The dish was so perfectly executed that I may not be able to order it from any other establishment for fear of being disappointed in the result.
I saw several dishes en-route to excited diners and all of it looked to have been prepared with the same skill and care as the Onion Bhaji , Roti, Garlic Naan and Vindaloo that had been gingerly delivered to our own table.
Thank you Dream Corner for the exceptional meal, I look forward to...
Read moreThis restaurant. I was wandering around the streets, and this restaurant woke my curiosity. I went to have dinner there. What should I tell you...those rotis, that chicken tikka masala, that amazing biryani, changed my life absolutely. I thought I knew what good food tasted like, I thought I understood the universe, but until I met the taste of a damn good curry, I realised I didn't know anything. The taste was so harmonical and explosive, something you've never tasted before. And that free cup of ice cream; though it seemed like it was going to be dull tasting and absolutely common, was the best tasting ice cream. The food i had here marked a before and an after in my life. It was the best food i ever had, and I was happier than ever when i finished, and my belly grew several centimetres after that. If you are ever visiting around here, please do take a moment to dine here. You won't be disappointed. Best food I ever had in my...
