We had an fantastic meal at Restaurante El Patio. You can eat inside or outside on the patio. We chose to go inside. The restaurant feels very classic and homely with clean tables and was quiet enough to have a good conversation but not too quiet. Menus outside the restaurant are printed in Spanish, French, German and English. There is a daily chalkboard menu inside the restaurant showing the specials, which all sounded very good. Two courses: entrée (grilled goat cheese, papas arrugadas) and main (chocos a la plancha and a chicken soup). Portion sizes were huge, we couldn't finish all of our food even though we really wanted to! We ended with a Ron Miel each - 5/5 Really delicious food and good value for money. Service was lovely. The waiter was very attentive to all the tables and patient with my slow Spanish. Food came very quickly so you were not waiting long. There are 8/9 tables, so not too many, but I don't think you would need a reservation in the off-season as we could walk in.

The servers are super nice and there is lots of parking to make it an easy stop. They don’t seem to mind tourists 😊

We recently dined at El Patio in Tenerife, and it was a wonderful experience. The ambiance is cozy and authentic, with a beautiful mix of traditional Canarian charm and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We tried the Canarian soup and the Canarian stew, and both dishes were fantastic! The soup was hearty and flavorful, with fresh ingredients that highlighted the unique spices of the region. The Canarian stew was equally delicious, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection, offering a true taste of the Canary Islands. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a memorable meal and an authentic taste of Tenerife, El Patio is a must-visit!

Had used this restaurant in the past many years ago. Decided as we were passing through, to dine here and to see how things had changed? Oh dear, big mistake.....I ordered pork chop and Canarian potatoes. My husband had goat in sauce with chips. Sorry to say I failed to take pictures, but the pork was so tough I struggled to cut it so knew immediately I wouldn't be able to chew it. The potatoes and chips were also cold. I returned my entire meal. My husband on the other hand finished his meal, but said the meat was tough, and it wasn't the best. So therefore would not recommend. I will add tho, they didn't try to charge for the returned meal. There was...
