Extremely disappointed about this restaurant. To start, my wife took a chickpeas stew that came cold. After claiming, they warmed it up with microwaves but the chickpeas were still undercooked, the meat was mainly fat, and the overall taste was bad. I had the rancho canario soup that was very small, mostly composed of potatoes, and with a few chickpeas and pork bones. Bad start, but the main plate was even worse. I had the carne de fiesta, which tasted spoiled. On top, I had to pay extra for a little plate of inedible oily fries, fried in very old oil. My wife had a salad, the cesar canaria con Pollo, with a lot of cheese and almost no chicken. Claiming to the service that it wasn't good, does not change anything. The house wine was about OK (nothing special) and we paid 2.50€ for 1 liter of filtered tap water with a bad taste. Raw chicken that an average doctor could bring back to life.

I ordered a chicken leg with fries, the leg was browned on the outside, but when cut into it was completely raw and dripping with blood.

I am definitely not picky eater and I eat a lot of shady foods, but this was a real health hazard and a salmonella voucher for 7 euros.

I returned the food and when the waitress saw it, she said that this was not right and apologized.

When paying, we found out that we had been charged for the raw chicken. The rude waiter demanded payment, which we repeatedly refused and only paid for the rest.

I definitely recommend avoiding the restaurant. It can happen that the waiter is unpleasant, or that the chef does something little bit wrong, (everyone has an bad day), but I have never experienced this...

We spent two weeks traveling around Spain in different cities and this was the worst restaurant we went to.

We don't understand why it has such good reviews, the only thing that saves it is the very nice service and possibly the atmosphere.
