Restaurante Hamburguesería Chamorrego — Restaurant in Sarria

I found Chamorrengo by accident and I am glad I did. It is a hidden gem in the city of Sarria and a family business owned by Carmen and Auri. I was immediately welcomed and felt at home by everyone!

I forgot that most restaurants in Spain close between 3-7pm and then re-open for dinner. But, Chamorrengo is open from 12pm -12am! If you need to eat at an odd time or a late lunch or dinner, this restaurant is a must!

I had the Ensalada Chamorrego and it did not disappoint. It was loaded with rolled up ham & cheese, tuna, lettuce, tomato, peppers, white asparagus and pineapple! It was a delightful blend of sweet and salty and hit the spot. It was so delicious! I wish I had the time to try more things on their extensive menu. I am sure everything would be great!

Vine el 25 de Junio de 2016 y quede encantada, tanto con la comida como con la atencion. Ahora vuelvo a estar el 30 de julio, la comida sigue estando rica, pero me atendió una chica morena rizosa que la verdad deja bastante que desear. Tanto ella como la cocinera estaban venga a dar la chachara sentadas en la barra con el local bastante sucio. La cocinera llevaba guantes azules puestos para cocinar, pero hubo un momento que salio a comerse un trozo de contesa y siguio con ellos puestos... La camarera sentada leyendo una revista y sonandose los mocos sin parar, y sin lavarse las manos en ningun momento... la verdad, es para no volver tristemente. En cambio cuando vine la primera vez he dedicir que no tuve ninguna queja... es una pena lo que puede cambiar la cosa con el...

A really wonderful experience. Pizza & burgers were excellent and reasonably priced. Plus Wifi (I needed to organize something). Beer & wine if desired (+ tobacco machine)....
