Igresia Parroquial de Santa Mariña — Attraction in Sarria

Builtin 1885. the lglesia Parroquial de anta Mariñia replaced a much older Romanesque church from the 12th century. wish I'd seen the inside, but it was closed both times 1 passed by. There's a pilgrim mass at 7 pm-l missed it one day and was too early the next. Maybe it's just this place's way of giving me a reason...

A beautiful holy catholic church. We were able to get there in time for the pilgrims blessing and we attended the noon mass the next day to start our journey in union with God and the saints to Santiago de Compostela....

…è la Chiesa dedicata a Santa Marina de Sarria!!…si trova nella città omonima!!…e io l’ho vista prima della partenza della tappa del mio Cammino di Santiago!!…si dice che sia stata costruita su un edificio precedente che fu andato in rovina!!…ma di questo resta solamente un disegno della porta e del capitello!!…purtroppo io l’ho vista di passaggio e soltanto esternamente!!…ma si dice che all’interno si possono vedere due incisioni molto importanti!!…dei santi patroni della città!!…molto bello e non passa sicuramente inosservato!!…il suo campanile!!…che si può vedere da tutta la città!!…spicca anche in lontananza!!…comunque bella questa Chiesa di Santa...
