Bar L´ALBUFERA — Restaurant in Seville

We came to eat here on the first of our 8 night stay in Sevilla, and we ended up eating here every night we possibly could after that (5 out of 8 nights!!!). We sampled the majority of the menu and we could not fault a single meal. Seriously, everything was absolutely delicious!! The prices are really reasonable as well. But what kept us coming back was the amazing service and welcome by the owner and his staff - along with the relaxed and peaceful dining experience. He intentado encargar dos veces arroz en este sitio, imposible…ya no lo intento más. Será el sitio más solicitado en sevilla para comer arroz, pero las dos veces que he llamado para encararlo, a las 12, recién abierto el local. La primera me dijeron que lo tenia que encargar de un día para otro (surrealista para un arroz) y la segunda que fue esta semana pasada, volví a llamar a las 12, a la hora que abren, y a las 12 me dijeron que ya estaban liadisimos…increíble que acabes de abrir y ya estes han liado. Conclusión: si quiero arroz lo quiero hoy, no encargarlo para mañana. Si vas a otros sitios de sevilla que también se dedican a hacer arroz, llamas en el mismo día, sin tener que llamar cuando el local acaba de abrir, y a la hora que llames, en media hora te tienen preparado el arroz para que lo recojas o para comerte lo allí, por ejemplo, La Nueva Taberna, en Bormujos. De vergüenza, parece que no tienen ganas de trabajar aquí, porque si en otros sitios te las hacen para el mismo día y aquí es imposible pedir porque quien atiende el teléfono, las dos veces que lo has intentado, las dos veces que me han dicho que no se puede. No volveré a intentar más “probar” el arroz de aquí ya que cuando quiera arroz llamo, por ejemplo, a Bormujos, y en media hora lo tengo listo para recoger. Lo que seguiré sin entender es como en un sitio si la puedes tener para el mismo día, en media hora, siendo un Sitio súper concurrido y súper conocido y aquí, estando en mi barrio y, muchas veces, sin tener tanta gente, te dicen que...

The restaurant was close to our hotel and looking at the menu online and reviews, we noticed they did paella. We popped in one afternoon, ordered paella and were not disappointed. The friendliness of the staff, the atmosphere and the food was sensational. The paella was the best we have had in Spain and we've been to Valencia as well.
