El Vagón Bar Restaurante — Restaurant in Seville

I really don't like leaving a review anywhere, but this restaurant really made me do it with its high quality food and friendly service. The owner was a local Sevillian who speaks english and was very friendly. He hosted us some local liquor shots (which were very nice). And the salmon was cooked perfectly, it was tender and juicy. The most important point was: they used just good amount of salt! Unlike other restaurants which gives overdose of salt, they know how to cook properly.

Although we had to leave quickly cuz our ride was just outside waiting, and I didn't make any photo so it is a bit difficult to find the restaurant so many days later, but I still want to thank the owner...

La comida estuvo deliciosa y el trato increíble!! En líneas generales, no puedo señalar algún aspecto negativo, nos encantó, y sobre la relación calidad-precio es bastante acertado. Apuntar también que todas las comidas son 100% caseras.

Un sitio bastante recomendable, el servicio empezó con dos aperitivos, queso y morcilla, los cuales estaban muy muy buenos. Tanto que nos acordamos de hacerle la foto tras comerlo jajajaja. Luego tomamos como entrante el tomate aliñado con atún y las croquetas caseras (esta vez eran de setas), bastante aconsejables ya que estaban súper cremositas. Pasamos a unas tapas individuales, la carrillada y el pisto con huevos, con los cuales si vais dos personas podéis comer bastante bien. Respecto a la carrillada la carne estaba en su punto, se deshacía con solo tocarla y estaba de muerte. El pisto tampoco se quedaba atrás, las verduras estaban cortadas muy finitas y jugosas, el huevo en su punto, perfecto para romper y mezclarlo con el resto de la comida. Por último, nos pedimos una parrillada de carne. Tenía bastante variedad, la carne, acompañada con mojo picón y una ensaladita, tenía el toque perfecto de sal y de hechura/cocción para nosotros. Lamentablemente no pudimos pedir postre porque estábamos satisfechos, pero también tenían muy buena pinta. Sin duda...

Do yourself a favor, eat here instead of at the train station. For the same price as a boring Sandwhich you’ll eat one of the tastiest sirloins you’ve ever had. Order the whisky sirloin, eat, then catch your train. If you eat at the train station and you’re not in a rush, then that’s a big mistake.
