The Suite: Space, Privacy & Peace||We stayed for a week at Meliá Lebreros in Seville for a family holiday—my husband, our 21-year-old daughter, and I. We booked a Level suite, and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. The room on 11th floor 1118 was spacious, quiet, and cleverly designed to give everyone their own space. It had an L-shaped layout with a lounge area, bedroom, and two bathrooms, which meant our daughter had her own facilities. Although the sofa bed was originally placed in the main bedroom, we moved it to the lounge area behind the sliding partition doors, which worked brilliantly. The soundproofing was excellent—no noise from other rooms—and the room stayed cool despite the heat, although the air conditioning was a little louder than expected but we got used to it.||The Level Lounge: Comfort, Flexibility & Care||The Level upgrade was well worth the extra cost. The lounge was fully air-conditioned with two outdoor terraces, allowing us to move between indoor comfort and shaded outdoor space. Breakfast was served until 11:30am, and drinks (soft, alcoholic, coffee, tea, water) were available all day until 10pm. Tapas were served from 5:30pm to 8:30pm, and as vegetarians and vegans, we were delighted that the team prepared special plates for us each evening. The itinerary in southern Spain is very different from the UK—lunch around 2–4pm, tapas early evening, and dinner after 9pm—so we often returned to the hotel for drinks and tapas on the terrace before heading out for dinner around 10pm. The Level also offers a 4pm checkout (must be reserved), which was a real bonus on departure day.||Location: Surprisingly Perfect||We were initially unsure about staying outside the historic centre, but it turned out to be a huge advantage. The tram stop (Luis de Morales) is less than five minutes from the hotel, and the single tram line runs every 10 minutes, is air-conditioned, and costs just €1.45 one way. It takes under 15 minutes to reach Plaza Nueva in the city centre, with stops near all major tourist destinations. We used it daily and found it far preferable to the metro, which was much busier and hotter. Unless you're heading somewhere specific that requires the metro, the tram is the perfect option. Santa Justa mainline station is also just a five-minute walk away, making our arrival from Málaga via Renfe fast train seamless.||Escaping the Heat: Afternoon Retreats||During our stay, the afternoon in September temperatures ranged from 30 to 39 degrees—exceptionally hot . The hotel was a perfect retreat during these hours, offering shaded terraces, cool lounges, and a peaceful large pool area. When we weren’t relaxing at the hotel, we crossed the road to El Corte Inglés for a bit of indoor browsing and air-conditioned comfort. We also visited several art galleries in the afternoons, which provided both cultural enrichment and a welcome escape from the heat.||Service: Warm, Professional & Personal||The staff at Meliá Lebreros were outstanding. At check-in, we were warmly welcomed by Pilar with a cold glass of cava. Andrea and Pilar at reception were multilingual, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful—like having personal travel guides. They advised us on trips, booked restaurants, and gave excellent local recommendations. Rachel and Jennifer ran the Level Lounge with grace and efficiency, and nothing was too much trouble. A special mention to Juani in housekeeping—despite the language barrier, her care and attention were clear. The room was immaculate, and her bed-making skills are genuinely impressive. We didn’t need housekeeping every day, but when we did, everything was done to perfection.||Outdoor Space & Dining||The hotel’s outdoor space is another highlight. The big pool area is a green oasis with plenty of loungers and shade, perfect for relaxing in the afternoon heat. The bar food was tasty and accommodating for vegetarians and vegans, and we loved being able to enjoy it poolside or in the cool lounge.||Final Thoughts||Although the hotel is in a business/residential area, it’s opposite El Corte Inglés and close to the Nervion shopping mall and Seville FC stadium. It’s a great base for exploring the city while enjoying the garden space, comfort, and excellent service at the hotel . Definitely make time to visit the Feria neighbourhood, Triana, and the Cathedral area around Calle Mateos Gago for tapas, bars, and restaurants—I’ll review those separately.||Thank you to the entire Meliá team for your exceptional service and a lovely holiday in beautiful Sevilla . Well done ! Highly recommend ...
Read moreA spontaneous trip to Seville with BA, brought us to this grand hotel located outside of the centre of Seville. A sensible upgrade to The Level is most definitely worth it balanced with the perks you receive, starting immediately on arrival. Private and luxury check in at The Level reception (although they forgot to provide us with the included welcome drink!). Then up to the room on the sixth floor.. Room was spacious, spotless. No real views in this outer city hotel and not designed in that way but the room was comfy and relaxing, with a fridge, complimentary water and powerful rainfall shower with Rituals soap/shampoo. ||Back downstairs, The Level lounge provides snacks and drinks all day, quieter breakfast in the morning, with a la carte menu for hot items and a cold buffet, and spirits and canapés in the evening. Well worth the upgrade on its own. It closes at 11pm, so a trip to the hotel bar is also worthwhile, very friendly bar staff and surprisingly cheap drinks/cocktails. This one shuts at 1am. The hospitality here is right on point. ||Resort themed, the pool is large and pleasant. The hotel runs a towel card system, so free towels for the pool area. You need the cards to get your deposit back. A pool bar. Plenty of sun loungers and deck chairs around the pool with five cabanas located at one end of the pool. We enquired the day before on reserving one of these and how much this would cost. The Level reception, main reception and evening pool bar staff running the weekend bbq all gave different and incorrect answers. Even the pool boy got it wrong during the next early morning citing that only the day pool bar staff would know! Needless to say, we sat on a cabana at 11am, intending to pay for the day prior to the 12 noon bar opening time and got told by the pool boy to get off or security would be called! Not very good service here. The swimming pool opened at 11am, which we thought was too late especially as the weather was beautiful and wasted several hours of relaxing time. The bar didn’t open until 12 noon where we were then able to pay for a cabana (€50 for the day including 2 x drinks and fruit plate). Remember your cabana day starts at noon and not a minute before. The cabana was nice although under the watchful eye of the pool boy! The pool area toilets and inside showers were unpleasant and smelly. Smelt of urine. Not fitting with a high end hotel. ||It should be noted that the pool bar is open on fri/sat evening for a bbq only. No drinks sold on their own. The bbq looked great but there was no atmosphere or music, and only two groups of guests using this facility at the time of our visit. ||This was always meant to be a relax trip for us so we did not venture outside unless out to the Dehesa Tavern, a perfect little Spanish restaurant right next door. I think owned by the Meliá. Apparently one of the best in Seville on TA and we can see why. I will review separately. But I hear that taxi and metro to the old town is cheap and quick. We used Uber taxis to and from the airport to this hotel, about €15 each way, collection point P1 car park arrivals ground floor. The hotel is very convenient for the airport. ||Check out was quick and easy from The Level reception. A late check out was most welcome and saved our last day before a late flight home. Thank you Meliá! ||We came here to relax. And this is a very relaxing high end hotel with a feature pool area. We think the hotel is missing the point of highlighting this great area from an earlier time. The hotel could make more money from the pool bar earlier and more guests would stay for relax vacations knowing they could also enjoy the morning by the pool. ||The Meliá Lebreros is a great hotel and The Level upgrade made it for us. The lounge and bar service was fantastic. But the hotel could be even better with some thought and changes around the pool...

Upon entering the room it's definitely a very bright and airy room. First thing I noticed is that it does have a bit of a strange smell to the room. Overall the size is slightly on the smaller of room, but nice. I am on the 12th floor and I have a nice view of some of the city.
The room has no carpet and no rugs...yeah! Room has an open closet concept next to the door with multiple hangers and drawers and a large mirror. The room also has a separate full size mirror. The TV is nice size and definitely fits the size of the room and I have a table with two sitting chairs There are tables on both sides of the bed and there's also a mini fridge with mini bar with different types of drinks and several snacks.
The room does have the standard Milana colored pencils and stress-free coloring book.
The bathroom is a little dark and not as bright as the other room. Bathroom has a couple of hand towels and a couple of body towels along with a separate rain shower and handheld that both look extremely clean. There is a separate shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the shower - which is also a tub. The tub does have a glass shower door for half of it to keep the water off the floor. The hand shower was a little light and I found the temperature to fluctuate ever so slightly.
The single sink includes a couple of cups along with pump lotion and hand wash. I do not see any more amenities but there is a sign that you can request additional items. A frosted glass door separates the bathroom from the rest of the room and actually stays closed.
The room provide three pillows on both sides and the bed and is very comfortable. There is an extra large luggage holder.
The hotel is located in a pretty central area close to lots of restaurants shopping and cafes.
Wi-Fi did seem strong and consistent. Breakfast was nice and had a lot of options and decent amount of seating.
Quickly with the negatives: The room does not include slippers, robe or a heated towel bar and does not include a kettle with tea and coffee. I think this is one of the first hotels I've stayed at that didn't have a kettle with teasing coffee. Even the Melia at the airport in Lisbon included a kettle with coffee and tea set that I was able to enjoy.
If I was looking for a 4-star hotel I would consider a stay again. However the missing kettle might sway me in...
