My girlfriend and I stayed for four nights at the Only You Hotel, and felt right at home from beginning to end. The hotel lobby and communal areas are all expertly designed, with a modern, Spanish feel. The gummy bears and refreshingly cold water by reception were a personal favourite too! We arrived in the evening via a twenty minute taxi from the airport, the check in process was quick and smooth and the staff were very friendly and informative. They told us that we had been upgraded, free of charge, meaning we had a larger terrace than we had originally booked. Nice! Our room was particularly pleasing in size and decoration, with a large modern bathroom, a huge sink and similarly spacious rainfall shower, with all the usual amenities too. The terrace was also large with a table and chairs, though was a bit overlooked. Whilst we didn’t actually use it during our stay, as we didn’t dine in the hotel, it would be a great spot to enjoy room service. The bed was also huge and incredibly comfy! Despite the huge bed, the room was still spacious, with a seating area as well as a desk. We were also greeted with some chocolate and orange wine, which goes to show the generosity of this hotel. There is ample room for storage also, and at night we couldn’t hear a thing. The pool in this hotel is also fantastic and a lovely relaxing spot to unwind after a day in the city. There is room for 30 or so loungers, all with parasols, and a well equipped bar with very fair prices. If you’re a Palladium member, you’ll also get €10 knocked off of any purchases. We spent a couple of hours by the pool each day after we’d spend the day in the city, and upon checking out, our bill for drinks was only €8!! I don’t know where else you can get value like that in such a chill spot. Towels are provided for the sun loungers, but one recommendation would be to add a sign asking guests to place their towels in the wicker baskets once they’ve left, as space is limited and a lot of guests just left them on the loungers when leaving. We did manage to find two loungers together each time we arrived at the pool, but it wasn’t always clear which loungers were free as people had departed without removing their towels. There is also a gym on the second floor, which is well equipped and has beautiful windows, another example of the wonderful design of this hotel. The breakfast area is also designed magnificently with loads of space and is only €22.50 if you pre-book (and isn’t included in your booking). There was so much on offer and everything was delicious, with an egg station and fresh coffee too. Definitely worth it. Lastly, the location is about a twenty minute walk from the centre, though the area surrounding the hotel is also well stocked with plenty of cafes, bars, and restaurants. There are plenty of bikes and scooters to rent outside the hotel, in case you don’t fancy the walk to the centre. The hotel is a 20 minute drive from the airport too, so very conveniently located. Sevilla’s stadium is also just a 10 minute walk away, which made for a nice atmosphere in the area on match day. Shame the cheapest tickets were €35, for a team in major decline, against fellow relegation candidates Las Palmas! Betis’ stadium is around 20 minutes by public transport, and they’re probably a much better watch at the moment. Good luck to them against Chelsea! Overall, everything about this hotel is a knock out. The design and facilities are wonderful, the staff are very friendly and attentive, and the room we stayed in, particularly the comfortable bed, was magnificent. Definitely value for money and I would certainly recommend it to anyone coming to Seville. Thanks for a...

Although, I saw some other families aside from us (party of 3) it didn’t feel family friendly. The pool is filled with couples, (younger and/or gay) and I heard some negative comments from them about having kids in the pool (loud noise coming from them and a watermelon in the water-which is understandable) because the pool is rather small for the size of the hotel.
The restaurants all looked great but we didnt eat at them except for one day while hanging out at the pool.
When we checked in, they told us the pool was open until 10 pm and we should check out a jazz event they were hosting later on. We were at the pool until about 7:45 pm because we saw them setting up, and we asked a gentleman that worked there if it was okay to remain and he said that we could while they were setting up, but we should come back later-I assumed that it was because we were in informal clothes, understandably. We went upstairs and came back down about 8:45 and sat down. I went to the bar to ask for a menu because I saw plates of food coming out. I was told that that food was for a private event, at which point I asked is it okay if we are here then? They said okay because it was semi-private. I then said, can I order food from the hotel restaurant and have it delivered to our table and they said no. My son was hungry and we wanted to watch the show. I told my husband I’ll go across the street and get him Burger King and be right back. We did in less then 10 minutes. My husband had ordered drinks for us, I sat down and set up my son to have his dinner while we enjoyed our drinks. Just as my son is about to bit into his sandwich someone else came and said we had to leave because it was a private event. We went ahead and told them, we were told it was okay for us to be here etc etc. they said , well it’s just that we want people to purchase drinks and food in this event. I was like, we have drinks and I tried to buy food and the told me I couldn’t. Long story short they let us stay but we felt very uncomfortable after, I even said if this is because of my sons Burger King, I can go outside with him while he eats it and we will come back in after and they said no it was okay, but then at this point my son who is 10 years old felt like he was doing something wrong. So that was an uncomfortable moment.
There are a few places you can walk to around here, but it’s not really a tourist spot. You need to take a cab to get to the places you want to be in because walking they are about 40 minutes...
Read moreWe had a disappointing stay here.
We had saved up to treat ourselves to a few nights at a 5 star hotel after a few tough months at home. We found that we had been sold a false experience, and this was certainly not a 5 star experience.
Pros: Really nice interiors/finishings The rooms were nicely done and nice bathrooms
Cons: The pool does NOT match the website photos/desccriptions at all, and there were no sunbeds to lie on at all (only chairs), the pool bar has not been finished yet, and there was lots of construction work going on around the pool (not the hotels fault of course) When we asked reception if it would be possible to get some sunbeds so we could rest by the pool, they told us (which they had clearly been given as a set response) that it was 'off-season' (it was may and 32 degrees), and that they had not specified on the website that there would be loungers or that the pool would even be open. In response, we showed them our booking, in which the amenities listed showed sun loungers and a pool bar, and showed pictures labelled 'Only you hotel - seville' showing a pool area that looked nothing like the reality. It was only then that our complaint was taken seriously. After complaining to a second person, we were offered paid for taxis to their sister hotel to use their sun loungers, however we declined this offer One staff member in the downstairs bar was very rude and made us feel uncomfortable ordering a drink We were put in the wrong room initially Our TV did not work
All of the above is not what I expect at 5 star prices
The location was ok - on a big ugly roundabout and takes about 25-30 mins to walk into the centre in the heat (or a bank of lime bikes right outside).
Overall it was just about ok, but I would not recommend and think your money could be better...
