Xin Bao — Restaurant in Seville

My wife and I visited this restaurant for our 50th wedding anniversary on the 08.08.25. What a terrible experience! We were the only ones in the place, the A/C had not been on and it was like an oven. We ordered a starter and a main and they both came out together, my wife sent hers back but when we'd finished our first course, they brought her second course stone cold, as mine was by the time I got to eat it. The food was awful, barely digestible and we left most of the second course. My wife could not get a glass of wine, she had to buy a bottle! We had to wave at them to eventually come to our table, the girl was too busy playing on a musical instrument the young waiter was transfixed filling vinegar bottles, they did not even check if everything was OK. After frantically waving at them (they were behind a plastic screen), we got them to get the bill. At no point did they clear away the dishes. There was a motor scooter parked in the restaurant. All in all a disappointing night....

So admittedly - we had enough tapas and were looking for something different. Chinese was suggested and off we went to find a Chinese place relatively close to where we were shopping. Wan Bao did not disappoint. While this is far from 5-star dining it was a pretty darn good meal for Chinese in Spain. Host spoke Spanish, English as well as Chinese, thumbs up to that. Sangria and fried rice? Sure is nice! Gyoza was great, haikau (chai tsaio? On menu) was a slight step down. Spring roll was a bit lacking - large size but a bit too greasy. Sweet and sour shrimp could have been better / crispier, but the grilled shrimp has great deep flavor. Chicken fried rice was light and fluffy not heavy as usually expected. Hemos pedido a este establecimiento por uber eats a las 13:30 un pedido programado para las 15:00-15:10, eran las 15:30 y no teniamos ninguna noticia, por lo que decidimos llamar al establecimiento y nos comunican que el pedido todavía ni se habia hecho y que se va a atrasar mínimo 30 minutos (ya nos llegaría el pedido 1 hora tarde, aun habiéndolo programado). Le decimos que por favor aceleraran la preparación y que si no llega tampoco a las 16:00 contemplariamos la opción de anularlo. A las 16:15 recibimos un mensaje de uber eats de que el establecimiento ha cancelado el pedido. Es una vergüenza la poca profesionalidad que tienen y la poca vergüenza de anular un pedido por decisión propia después de las molestias que nos han ocasionado. Estoy escribiendo esta reseña a las 16:24 sin tener la opción de pedir a otro establecimiento por la hora que es, sin poder comer. Además por el momento no nos han devuelto el dinero, llamo una y otra vez al restaurante y han descolgado el telefono. Evidentemente iremos al local a exigir al menos nuestro dinero por un pedido que no hemos consumido y que han anulado en nombre de unos clientes, sin tener su consentimiento.
