A True Culinary Gem in Seville - Better Than Any Indian in the UK!
During our recent visit to Seville, we stumbled upon Bollywood Indian Restaurant, and it turned out to be an unforgettable dining experience. As enthusiasts of Indian cuisine, we were curious to see how it would compare to the flavors we're used to back in the UK. To our delight, Bollywood exceeded all expectations, offering what can only be described as the best Indian food we've ever had!
We started our meal with crisp and flavorful poppadoms, accompanied by a selection of chutneys that perfectly balanced sweet and spicy notes. This delightful beginning set the tone for what was to come. Next, we indulged in the mixed tandoori starter, which was an absolute revelation. Each piece of meat was tender, bursting with smoky, aromatic flavors, and beautifully marinated—a true testament to the skill of the chefs.
For our main courses, we opted for the Chicken Madras and Butter Lamb, two classic dishes that were executed to perfection. The Chicken Madras was fiery and bold, with layers of spice that danced on the palate without overwhelming the dish. The Butter Lamb, on the other hand, was rich and velvety, with tender pieces of lamb that melted in the mouth. Both dishes were accompanied by perfectly cooked rice and naan, making the meal a complete and satisfying experience.
Having dined at numerous Indian restaurants across the UK, we can confidently say that Bollywood in Seville surpasses them all. The flavors were more vibrant, the ingredients fresher, and the overall experience more authentic than anything we've encountered back home. If you're in Seville and craving Indian cuisine, Bollywood is an absolute must-visit. This is Indian dining...
Read moreIf you want Indian spiced and flavoured food then DON’T bother dining here. The food was mediocre at best. The prawn puri and chillie garlic chicken had similar tastes, maybe they use the same gravy, not sure. Mango Lassi, garlic naan and papadum were good.
We went here during a very busy lunch period. We got seats inside and saw how frantic the 3 front of house staff were.
We ordered drinks. We asked the mango lassi with no ice. They put ice in and when we pointed this out, they just took it behind the bar and took out the ice instead of pouring a new one.
We ordered the daal makhani which turned up as paneer makhani so we sent that back and when we got it back it was a mix of the two. Paneer was removed and the dal lentils were added. This also reflected on the bill. Which I asked not to be charged for and the staff argued back saying we ate it so we have to pay. I showed him how much was left over because it didn’t taste great and now I found out it wasn’t even what we had ordered so why should I pay for their mistake. He took off 10% just that dish not the bill.
When my chillie garlic chicken came out, the food was at room temperature so I asked for it to be reheated and as soon as it came out I could tell it was warmed up in the microwave. Which was confirmed after touching the salad that was on the dish which felt warm.
As we were leaving we spoke to maybe the manager in Hindi and I explained that i wouldn’t come back and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone of my friends. He was very apologetic but to me that didn’t mean much as I shouldn’t be getting charged for what I...
Read moreWe were craving for Indian food after arriving at Sevilla and was looking for options near our hotel. Indian Bollywood restaurant came up as an option on our Google search as it was only 6mins walk from. H Collections hotel where we were staying. Managed to book a table for the evening but was massively disappointed with the behaviour of one particular staff at the restaurant. @ Restaurant Manager / Owner - You need to either teach manners to this guy OR replace him as soon as you can as this guy doesn’t know how to behave with his customers. I asked for some Hot Water to prepare food for my 2yr old baby who was suffering from fever which completely destroyed his appetite and was literally surviving on Milk from the past 3days. This guy told me on the face that he won’t do it as the kitchen was too busy and he didn’t want to slow down the orders being prepared at the kitchen. His behaviour was so rude and awful that I had to request another staff to get me some hot water from the coffee machine so that I could prepare some food for my 2yr old. This chap couldn’t be bothered at all and his disgusting behaviour was totally unacceptable. I would never ever visit this restaurant chain anywhere else in Span as apparently, they have outlets in other cities in Spain as well. I would request the Management of Indian Bollywood restaurant to take some strong action against...
