Syrtaki Taverna — Restaurant in Son Servera

Was shocked by the rude behavior of the staff especially with children. Absolutely unfriendly and unthinkable. The elder chef women forbid 2 little boys (4 and 5 years) runing to the toilet to enter. Raising voice on me with sour face when I came to help crying son to go to the toilet, asking why we go to the toilet and if this is a joke. Because we came before 2-3 times to wash hands and use wc. We came 2 moms with 4 children from 1 to 5 years. Ordered food and drinks, 2 little babys peacefully sleeping in strollers, 2 bigger boys and moms eating, relaxing. Spent maybe 1 hour, place was almost empty, 4 pm. The elder man waiter made his service with unhappy face, showing signs we should finally leave, but there were only 1-2 more clients there. Be carefull cause even if you spent money there, you will never know when it will be not too many times to wash hands (in pandemics) or go to the toilet, or maybe you will disturb staff just to do nothing. And if you are with children do not expect a smile, but be ready for a sour face. Food was...

Ate here twice in a row in the evening. The first night was extremely busy but do you know what the waiters are appreciative that we wait and understand that they’re going through a lot of work. It is not necessarily their fault is it so busy, they accommodate for everyone. Food is amazing, the €1 bread is lovely. Plus I had the shrimp and beef dish. All cooked to the best of standards. The young server with dark short hair is lovely and kind. So yeah dont let it being busy put you off because sometimes in life you just have to remember that most things in life are busy and need to be patient...

Had a wonderful lunchtime here choosing the mixed grill to share with my wife. Lovely family run restaurant and offered a tasty salad bowl that was complimentary before the main event. Fresh homemade patties tender and beautifully cooked with pork skewers and tender chicken all on a bed of shredded pork and onions yummy and the home made tzatziki..I was so full I wanted a dessert but had to eat what the wife left it was so good.. Lovely hosts from Greece felt like we were back in Crete for the duration going...
