Nice staff and local vibe but food lacks quality and good taste. No menu but on the board, only in Spanish. I speak Spanish and I could not decipher the writing and the waiter had a hard time explaining the choices to me that were written on his tiny index card. The meat, fish and chicken we ordered were all basic dishes. The pork chunks were almost unedible they were so tough and chewy. The fish was average, grilled, I think it was tuna but we weren't sure. The breaded chicken was piled on the plate and decent. The bread was super hard and not tasty. The wine was very homemade and nothing I would buy again. To be fair, this is pure local food. If want a local vibe and to taste traditional Canarian food then this is your place but if you have high standards, you will...

Very friendly and hospitable people work here. It feels like a family business with a long history and traditions.

This is a cozy restaurant in Canarian style. From the outside, it is not remarkable at all, except for a large number of people who are waiting for their table or just came out to stand at the entrance. Usually there are many guests here on weekends, people come to celebrate something or just eat delicious food. Inside there are many different photos, paintings, old tools of agricultural professions.

It's really delicious here. Delicious home-made Canarian dishes are prepared in the restaurant. Everything we tasted was amazing. After the visit, I even started making stuffed round...

It was perfect! We noticed at the beginning many locals and very full place. Although there was no English menu printed, a very kind waiter shown us everything they had. The food itself and desserts were delicious and to our amazement, much cheaper than we expected. After the waiter refused our tip, we gave him at least extra cash which was rewarded with a parting present of delicious liquor. The couple paying before us had a little girl, who was given candies. In all honesty, this experience at restaurant gave us a very pleasant feeling of great waiter and I fully recommend this place not only because of the delicious food, but great...

This place is exceptional. Go for the locals' large eating area on the right as you enter. No English spoken and not even a printed lunch menu. Eat as the Canarians eat. A great atmosphere and a few mainly good surprises as your food arrives. If this puts you off then don't bother, but nothing ventured nothing gained. Cod, Canarian potatoes, sweet potatoes, chips, salad (including banana, pineapple and pear). Even the bread, crunchy and with a hint of aniseed was a welcome new experience for me. Go for it, even if out of the average tourist's comfort zone.
