Miramar Bolonia — Restaurant in Tarifa

Was disappointed when I scanned the code to read the menu and couldn't find it in English. Surprisingly beside Spanish there was Russian language option... Anyways, the location is beautiful as you can see the beach from here and it's situated right next to a historical site. The ambience was good and the restaurant seemed to be busy. The services were great, nothing to complain about it. Regarding the food, it was tasty and well prepared but nothing special. I would also say that the prices are fair here. Definitely will return here.

Soy celíaca y mis acompañantes y yo íbamos buscando el restaurante Otero (especialistas en cocina sin gluten, incluídos rebozados) pero al pasar por este restaurante (hay tres chiringuitos distintos pero todos pegados uno al lado del otro por lo que puede parecer uno solo) nos abordó uno de los captadores o camarero insistiendo en que nos sentáramos, le pregunté si era el resraurante que yo estaba buscando porque quería pescado frito sin gluten y no me contestó a la pregunta, solo decía (recalco: muy insistentemente) que nos sentáramos que sí tenían opciones sin gluten, todo pasó muy rápido y no me dio tiempo a indagar más, porque encima sobreentendí que era el restaurante que yo buscaba. Nos sentamos, nos tomaron nota de la bebida y después llevaron los cubiertos y la carta, ahí me di cuenta que no era el restaurante que yo buscaba y aunque tenían algunas opciones sin gluten NO tenían lo que yo iba buscando (pescados o mariscos con rebozado apto para celíacos) a pesar de habérselo dicho antes. Y como tenía antojo de algo rebozado y ahí no tenían, encima me sentí engañada, decidimos pagar las bebidas e irnos al otro restaurante, solo habían sacado 4 platos con los cubiertos y las bebidas y aún así nos cobraron servicio de mesa, aunque no estuvimos sentados más de 10 minutos, me sentí estafada. No dudo que la comida ahí sea buena, pero las formas del "captador" me parecieron nefastas y deshonestas. Solo por eso, jamás comería ahí. OJO CELIACOS si estáis buscando el restaurante especialista en rebozados sin gluten...

I said we wanted a coffee and she responded… then you should go to the benches outside (the restaurant was empty so I sat inside). It was a very bad experience to be honest… I am sad that such a lovely place is being shadowed by an uneducated receptionist.
