Waiter was friendly and provided good service. The food, on the other hand, was quite disappointing. There was some mix up with the ingredients of the salad, which was said on the menu(ENG) to have avocado and quinoa? It was served without either, meaning the salad was chunky chopped tomatoes, cucumber, red onion rings with rubbery olives doused with shaved cheese. My hot meal had cold vegetables, as though someone pulled them from a cold hold to a plate. The prices were steep for small portions, which were largely unsatisfying - we survived only on a raft of bread and chips. The chips could only be described as sad and salty. Gofio is to avoided at all costs, could have been mistaken for the products of last nights spicy food and heavy drinking in both taste and appearance. Excellent! Decided on the spur of the moment to pop in after walking my dog on the paseo de la garita. Oliver ( my dog) was welcomed inside and offered a bowl of fresh water. They already had me there 🙂 Ordered the rocket and blue cheese salad and thoroughly enjoyed it. One of the specials of the day for main course: dorado with potatoes and fresh veg : tasty , well presented and more than enough. Dessert was tarta de abuela. Definitely worth it. Finished off with an Irish coffee that really “did the job”. Lovely surroundings, right on the beach front and a playground for kids across the road, next to the beach. Well worth the visit. These people KNOW what they are doing! What to say? The food is simply delicious. Dishes are very well detailed visually and the taste is as good as it seems. I didn’t expect such a quality restaurant in this place to be honest, I was totally wrong. I had baccalà and I loved it. My friend had a out-of-the-menu thing and it was amazing too.
