Maxim Restaurante — Restaurant in Teulada

Tried already a few times to get into Maxim but was always fully booked. Now I know why! This place is just excellent. Just try to understand that Maxim and Laura are running this place themselves (probably the youngest ones in Moraira with that quality of food). The food was excellent, the service should be 6 stars, but maximum 5 is possible.... And price quality I am quite sure that this one is unbeatable. Had the salmon tartar and grilled salmon, the brownie with orange cream and 1/2 L of white wine. And that all for 22€ per person! Just enjoyed another good meal at Maxim's. Unfortunately the 3 course menu no longer includes wine but is still priced at 24.95 Euros. I feel this is quite an increase in price and for this reason will no longer be visiting the restaurant.

Thank you for your reply, I agree your quality is very good but do not agree that your quantity has increased, far from it. Your cheapest bottle of wine is 15 Euros, so this actually represents an increase of 30% - I do not see other restaurants increasing their prices by 30%. You can always offer a wine list to those clients that wish to substitute the included wine and possibly pay a supplement for this. We had a beautiful evening meal here recently and we all agreed that it was the nicest meal we had in a long time. The evening menu had so much selection to choose from and between the four of us we chose a variety of different dishes including lamb, fish, pork, prawns, sushi, cheese board, creme brulé and more. Every single dish was perfect and so full of flavour. The service was incredible, the staff were attentive and friendly. The meal was relaxed and the setting sitting outside near the tree and lights was just beautiful. This was one of our favourite meals we have ever had in the area, we will definitely be back and we will be recommending our family and friends to come...
