Guras Curry House — Restaurant in Teulada

Delicious food, comfortable dining, attentive staff. Don't let the outdoor appearance deceive you, this is not fast street food, but enjoyable dining of quality cuisine prepared by impecable talent who understand spices and seasonings. Our food was very tasty without being overbearing on the heat. The set menu is tremendous value and provides diverse menu offerings. Arrive with a a good appetite as the portions are generous. We had to takeaway a good portion so that we had room for desert. We have eaten at many of the Indian restaurants in the Calpe and Moraira area and are very pleased to have Guras among them. We plan to return when we are next in the area.

Update (March 2019) We are back in the Costa Blanca and our first evening meal was at Guras. Again the service was prompt and attentive, the food delicious, and so sufficient we had a good amount for take-away. Nepalese-style pistachio ice cream was a great end to the meal - not sweet and a goodly presence of cardamom (a flavor I enjoy).

Update (November 2019) Once again we are back in the Costa Blanca and our first evening meal again is at Guras. They now have a special menu that includes all menu items, including Nepalese specialties. This is fantastic. As always, we enjoy our dining experience in every regard, from the friendliness and hospitality of the owner and staff to the exquisite quality of the food. Can't recommend Gura's...

Absolutely an amazing evening, just 2 of us , haven't been for around 6 months, same smiling faces and remember us , both had the same , 16.95 euro s per person, you get popadoms , starter , the mixed starter is wonderful, mains, Bombay potatoes or mushrooms, rice , and narn bread , ice cream or coffee plus a Bailey's, or brandy ect . How good is that. The Chile chicken is fabulous, sauce so nice texture and spices perfect . 10 out of 10 for the best curry In moriara. Try it, you won't be disappointed . First time visit today for lunch. Nice friendly greeting given by waiter on arrival. Ordered the Special lunch entree of poppadam and assorted pickles which was very tasty and nicely presented. Starter of mixture of chicken and vegetable dishes was very nice. Chose chicken tika balti with nan as main came with a complimentary dish of bombay potatoes which were all delicious. Choice of ice cream or coffee for dessert also excellent. Waiter most attentive and polite throughout the entire meal. Very pleasant experience and I will...
