THE MOMOS BAR-RESTAURANTE — Restaurant in Teulada

We have been meaning to call in here for a long line due to everyone raving about it. It was about 1700hrs and we were the only people ( 4 of us ) except a couple that ordered a pizza that were eating, the staff outnumbered the diners. We ordered the MoMos special as a starter, three MoMos Sizzlers from the MoMos special menu plus a salmon meal. The salmon, veg and chips were served on an ice cold plate which cooled the food after a few mins apart from that it was ok. The MoMos sizzlers were a long way from that, they were three plates of sad looking sticky gloop, all with a burnt flavour as if it had ‘ sizzled ‘ for too long and had then lost the will live before being served. TBH I’d have been embarrassed to have presented this to paying customers. The only plus was the Pan / Alioli was fantastic. Atmosphere. There was none, the doors were all open and it was 13° outside, no music just a random tennis match on a half covered tv. Having lived in the area for years we always wanted to try this place. Amazing all around! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food is exceptional and really great value for money. (We went for the sole, prawn salad, mixed salad, and fish and chips, with apple cake for dessert). They offer a menu del dia for just €16 which includes bread with alioli, a starter, main, and dessert/coffee. There's plenty of inside and outside seating, and they're dog friendly outside! I had my first Vacation with my fiancée here. We were struggling with finding a place to eat, where we'd feel welcomed and also like the food.

It's not typically spanish but the service is absolutely perfect, very friendly employees, very attentive. My girlfriend LOVES the shells and I can recommend the Salmon and the lamb chop as well.

On the weekends they play live music, it's best to reserve a table then.

We know for sure, when we come back here for vacation, the Momo's is a MUST-GO!

Mit meiner Freundin habe ich hier in der Gegend den ersten gemeinsamen Urlaub verbracht. Wir hatten zunächst Schwierigkeiten gutes Essen zu finden und ein Lokal, in dem wir uns wohl fühlen.

Hier ist es zwar nicht "typisch spanisch", dafür ist der Service aber absolut perfekt, die Angestellten sind freundlich, engagiert und sehr aufmerksam! Meine Freundin liebt die Muscheln in Weißweinsauce und ich kann den gegrillten Lachs und auch das Lamm nur empfehlen!

Am Wochenende gibt es Livemusik, es lohnt sich einen Tisch zu reservieren.
