Rodolfo — Restaurant in Teulada

We have been eating at Rodolfo's for about 18 years, so obviously we like it. The food is fantastic - in my mind the best pasta I have ever eaten. I particularly like the way you can choose which pasta you like and then which sauce to go with it. This makes the possibilities enormous. This time I had the Orange salad for my starter which was delicious, then I had spinach and ricotta cannelloni with tomato sauce (I always do) and for desert I had tiramisu (again, I always do). Forget about all that pre-manufactured tiramisu you have eaten, this is the real deal. It is made in a big glass and it is the best. It is the tiramisu by which all others are judged, and for me, none beat it. The restaurant has a very calm atmosphere and Rodolfo and his wife are excellent hosts. Looks a bit strange to go inside but once you have found the way to get in, you will go back again. Very simple reaons: Best pasta you can find in Moraira, location and a very friendly Rodolfo. We had the Tagliatelle and the lobster. The pasta was cooked al dente and was fresh. As was the lobster. If you'd like to eat homemade delicious food go to Rodolfo's, it is hands down the best food in town. It's a cozy place with comfy chairs and elegant tables. We tried a few things there and everything was made to perfection. The owner is truly a talented cook. All meats we ordered were very tender and simply tasty. Some of the dishes we ordered: avocado cocktail (with shrimp and salmon in a white wine sauce), beef stroganoff (omg so mouthwatering), ossobuco, margherita pizza, tomato soup, fried mozzarella sticks, carpaccio, saltimbocca, and more.
