RESTAURANTE PIZZERÍA EL PANARO — Restaurant in Torremolinos

During the last week I have been to this restaurant 4 or 5 times. One of the visits was extremely unpleasant. I came with four people and the second family [also 2+2] was about to join us, so we asked for a table for eight people. We were seated and once the waitress asked where the other people were, I replied that they should join us soon. However, it turned out that they changed their mind at the last minute. When I asked for the bill after we had finished eating, the waitress [an older blonde woman designated to serve guests with English] ironically suggested that we had booked a table for 8 people when there were four of us and that we wanted a larger table. When I was shocked I asked: what's going on, could you repeat? Then she turned on her heel and didn't answer a word. I have been to many restaurants and I admit, I have never had such a situation in my life. There were still free seats in the restaurant. P.S. Ultimately, a family friend who was supposed to eat with us ate at the same restaurant about an hour and a half later.

The food is tasty, the service is nice, apart from one...

We have chosen this restaurant to have a quick pizza as dinner but inside it looks not really clean. We got a table direct under a "high-speed" fan on the ceiling and it was uncomfortable to sit there. The menu card s were "oily" and "gluing" a little so that you got the feeling after choosing the meal you have to clean your hands before you eat. The deliver on the table was very fast as well the staff was friendly so this part was ok. Some of the plates have had bigger cracks and chipped corners and this gave us as well a note about this restaurant and their guidings. So we hope that this "feeling" with the menus and tableclothes as well the conditions of some plates and accessories is not the same picture in the kitchen. So the prices were ok but it was not really a comfortable feeling...

Our waitress looked as though she was displeased because when we came into the restaurant, it was already a little bit crowded (a few customers apparently had just come in, though not too many). We ordered a plate of pasta and a pizza to share between two of us. The waitress just put down the two items in front of each of us, without asking us which item was whose order, and quickly walked away. We did not have a chance to ask her for small plates (to share the two items) because she had was gone as she put down our orders and never came back to ask about how the taste was, or to suggest other drinks. Customers should not be guilty for the restaurant being crowded. We will never come back to such a restaurant even if the taste was good...
