A story of two meals. The first night there was lovely, all staff were v nice and attentive. Had a lovely Arroz Negro (Black rice Paella) and was very happy to visit there again next time we were looking for a meal near the Playa de Locos.
But sadly the second night a few nights later was a very different story.
We were called to a table, to a few minutes later be questioned whether we had sat there without asking.
We had to wait then to be served (it was busy but the staff were not looking after 'areas' making it all very muddled their side). This time we ordered a burger and Kabab meal which came with fries and a beer/drink. We were told that the beer we wanted would cost the difference extra to their €1.80 limit on the free drink. Ok, not a problem, but we noticed that we were charged the full price for both once we had left.
The food that night was also nowhere near the standards of the first. The burger was made there which was watery and gristly. The fries were ok. The kabab meat was ok but sauce was bland and just squirted on top of it alongside a little lettuce.
So what can we learn? Maybe best to visit when not too busy and stick to the paellas, also watch the bill and attitude...
Read moreJust in front of Los Locos Beach, it has easy access by foot from the beach. Plenty of tables on the balcony and two terraces outside give you plenty of options. Unfortunately the music was very loud. My 2 cents from my personal opinion:people go to have lunch near the beach, not to the club. The service is not organised: several waiters, a pos to take orders and even doe they manage to lose our order. Credits to the waiter that was friendly and dealt with our complaint in fast manner. The calamares (squid rings) were over dried, the pulpitos(small octopus) were standard and the chicken fingers were crispy. As for the Angus Chulleton, lacks flavour and texture with too much fat.
Overall it’s a regular restaurant with nothing that really makes them shine above all the others in the city apart...
Read moreEstafadores y cutres.
