El Sabor Indian — Restaurant in Torrevieja

Everything seemed great at first, service was top notch.. the starters were nothing special but seemed ok, the mains is where it went downhill fast, the mixed tandoori grill was literally rancid, you could smell the meat was rotten from a mile away, I called waiter over and explained this, who agreed it was gone off but then started babbling “if you look at our reviews online everyone says it’s great so don’t leave a bad reviews as mistakes can happen” I never normally leave reviews but I felt people need to be aware.. also sidenote we were sat relatively close to the kitchen and chef mic (microwave) was clearly doing a full shift as it was pinging every few minutes.

Other items we ordered such as lamb saag, garlic naan and chicken biryani were sub par and farm foods microwave meal quality, such a shame as the smells coming from the restaurant was what had drawn us in to begin with but any restaurant willing to serve rancid meat should be avoided...

Came here by recommendation by a neighbor, and wow, did this place live up to its reputation! The menu del dia is served between 18.00 and 19.00, and you get tremendous value for money, a three course dinner for 13 euros. Me and the Mrs. had the Onion Bhai for starters, chicken Tikka masala as main and some ice cream for dessert.

This being my second time having Indian food, and not being too much into the spicy side, these dishes was spot on. The chocolate ice cream had large, delicious and crunchy pieces of dark chocolate, soo good!

Service was speedy, friendly and you felt really welcome.

I know it's important to earn a buck or two on each dish served, but if there would have been at least some small pieces of naan bread included (you had to choose between naan, rice or chips) and then the choice of rice or chips, five...

❌❌❌Worst service and expiernce I ever had. I order chicken Korma and waiter was very arrogant and didnt ask me if I wanted something more to that. I didnt know it came without rice. Anyway I had to wait 15 min for the rice and the food to be cold and top of that while starting to eat I found hair in the rice 🤮🤮🤮. When I called and complaint about that he said it can not come with the food. I was ok so you mean it came from heaven and landed here. ⛔️⛔️⛔️ Instead of taking responsibilitie and be sorry to fix this they accused me with more reasons.I Will never go to this DIRTY place 🤮🤮🤮🤮 and NOT RECOMEND to anyone.
