El Fornet is close to the central city part of Estartit which makes it a great stop before or after you roam the cities shops in the evening. I liked the vegetarian burger but noticed that the patty was probably a store bought (Vegetarian Butcher/Beyond Meat) burger which didn't hold up to the other restaurants that served homemade veggie patties.
That being said, the server was friendly and attentive, the only thing that lost some points for me was that our different items of food arrived delayed so that the first pizza we got was almost cold when the others got served.
Overall it was a decent and positive experience but we probably won't return for the sake of looking and trying out other restaurants in...

16 Juni 2023 Freundliche Begrüßung, guter Service, gutes Essen. 1/2 Hähnchen mit Pommes und Salat. Öl, Essig, Salz, Pfeffer wurde dazugereicht. Creme Catalan. Perfekt. Sehr freundliche Verabschiedung. Merci!

September 2022: Ein freundlicher junger Kellner. Das Essen war wieder sehr gut. Das Hähnchen und die Pommes waren ausgezeichnet. Der Salat leider ohne jedes Gewürz.
Mai 2022: Wir waren zwei mal hier essen und wir hatten frisch gegrilltes schmackhaftes Hähnchen mit Beilagen. Beides Mal war es angenehm, schmackhaft würzig. Die Servicekräfte waren sehr freundlich. Das Essen kam zügig und ansprechend angerichtet. Das Lokal ist sehr gepflegt und macht einen sehr guten Eindruck. Die Hähnchen werden fachmännisch an einem Grill gegrillt. Es macht Spaß zuzusehen! Ate here well a year ago, so we decided to go back. My food went cold while waiting for the second plate to be served. Fries felt and tasted like they were from last week, some of the chicken skewers were half raw. Both felt sick afterwards. The owner is the cook, but he should be giving attention to his rude staff instead of cooking. Price is low, but I’d rather spend quite some more for proper food....
