This restaurant is a must if you go to Torrox Costa!!!! We’ve been three times on our holiday and every time the food is of a very high standard. The service is impeccable and the staff are very friendly and very professional. The setting is a few metres back from the beach and it is always busy with a relaxed atmosphere. We’ve eaten nearly everything off the menu - from the delicious tapas to the tender-cooked meat! My husband had the octopus on each visit and he is very hard to please!!!! The mojitos are delicious and very well presented! The cheesecake is a must!!! Basically, this really is a high-class food restaurant that will suit everyone from a tapas easygoing meal - to a celebration! And by the way, by far the cleanest toilets on the Costas!!!! The first visit here reviews were good, so thought we'd give it a try. Had the tapas never had them before, and everything we ordered was great and full of flavour. Be careful what you order as the Spanish potato salad has tuna in it, which was one of the dishes my husband tried and he doesn't like fish luckily I do. The service was quick. Our waiter was lovely, and the food arrived promptly. They only had one dessert, which was homemade cheese cake it was delicious 😋 and a very good-sized portion. The place itself had a very relaxing atmosphere and a good selection of music. Hence, the name there were quite a few monkey related pictures which gave the place character. For the friendliest service and freshest tastiest food, this has become our favourite place on the Costa. Peaceful location overlooking the sea, for drinks, home made tapas or a meal from the made to order menu or specials where we tried the gambas pil pil, the best ever, and the grilled octopus, again delicious. Wanted to try the sticky ribs but ran out of room!! The Greek salad and freshly prepared tzaziki are superb, genuinely home made meat balls also... to name but a few....all served with a smile.
